He is anil, but to hear the Lord we do not do so by the physical ears but with the ears that CAN hear. This is our spirit within us which matches the Spirit of God. Everything that God has to say to us through His Spirit is ministered and given to our spirit. It is our spirit that can " hear " and " sense" what God is saying. The Spirit Himself witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God. The Spirit speaks not of Himself but of Christ and He imparts all that Christ has done and attained into us as we open our being to Him. Its such a blessing to be in a position to actually hear the words of life from God. Faith comes by hearing.. and hearing by the word of God. May we remain in such a place to hear and have our ears opened and healed by the Lord to continue to receive all that He has to say to us.

At times I can hear the voice of the Spirit. I say hear for lack of a better word. He sounds like my own thoughts, much as the false self sounds like my own thoughts. I have come to understand that I have no original thoughts, if Thoughts are going Thur my head there are only 2 possible sources, the false self or the Spirit. Someone said that if you can hear the voice of the Spirit then you are in duality. Well, yes & no. We all "hear" the voice of the false self, but we have heard it for so long that we actually think it is us. This is it's best weapon, for how can we refuse to follow a voice we really believe is us. We are programed from birth to be a false self, so the initial hearing the voice of the Spirit is progress toward ultimately listening to just the Spirits voice. For me, my path has been a progression not a event.

While I do "hear" God speaking to me, it's not what is called audible. I feel, see, understand what God is saying, and I think I turn that into words. However, I am not saying that if He so chose he could not be audible. After all, He's God and as such can do whatever He pleases.

It isn't audible to anyone who is not mentally ill. For the rest, they see signs in ordinary events and perceive their own thoughts and feelings as being the voice of their god. Essentially, each person who believes in a god IS that god, and that is why there are so many different beliefs (as many different beliefs as there are people who believe) as to what the gods expect from us.

A spirit does not have ears to hear nor eyes to see or mouth to speak. For that a body is needed. However God can understand feelings whenever He wishes to know about them. If God was to be able to hear then it would be the question what language one needs to use to speak to God. Because God is a spirit and owns no body He can understand the language of the hearts of all people alover the world no matter which bodily language they use.

If you go into the depths of these you would see that there are words and there are meanings. When we hear one word we translate it into a meaning. God does not need translation - He gets the meaning directly.
It is interesting and nice to think further about this because one more thing you find out is that because He can understand the truth behind the words and He himself only expresses truth whenever He comes into expression He is called the Truth.

GOD himself is not actually audible, but HE does speak through actions and words of other people, also through things that happen for us. I hear GOD speak to me... just about every day!!

Sometimes. I know when I get told to turn 90 or 180 degrees from where I was going, and it ends up to my surprise being the best way.
Sometimes I pray for something, and someone comes over to me in the next few days to specifically answer the prayer (which is God speaking to someone else on my behalf).

What witless nonsense regarding the Spirit of God. God and all of the associated minions does not exist. Why do we seek this pointless and fruitless exercise. I am only saying because I came from Nebraska-which is as sterile and not experiencing technology, cancer research, and aeronautic develops. You do not need god for this type of growth.

spirits lacking vocal chords can not talk at all.sound can be created and transmitted only by matter.god himself have made only such an asytem to work in thbis unverse . Spirits being smoke-like or vapoiur- like can not make soud themselves unless they hit against something of matter .Since the Spirit here is said to be god itsel;f , it would e absured to expext if tpo ptoduce sound by hitting its head against some external matter..It should be ungodly to expect /make sirits speak .
