Stalin was to have become a priest, so he was no atheist

Wouldn't portraits of Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimr Lenin, or Friedrich Nietzsche be more likely? They're the ones that laid the foundation of communism and the secular, proletarian society.

Stalin, on the other hand, was an ambitious sociopath that had a opportunity handed to him by fate and destiny, much to the sorrow of ~20,000,000 Russians.

Is Stalin the founding father of atheism? Atheism is a function of the enlightenment 200 years ago, Stalin only a denizen of the 20th century, with much blood on his hands, as he had the "benefit" or modern technology and media..

Uh, the whole point in being atheist is to not worship/believe in God. I would include hanging a picture of a "founder" of atheism over you bed in with the other things an atheist wouldn't do.

Abraham Lincoln: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Frank Zappa: Stupidity has a certain charm - ignorance does not.

Yes. I collect a picture of every tyrant both atheist and theistic. I also keep a lock of their hair or item of clothing. If I can't get an item, I borrow one from one of their victims.

You haven't been to school have you?? Pick one person who had a dogma all of his own, political in nature and because he is one of billions who don't believe in supernatural beings - why choose him to pick out. He did nothing AS an atheist or because of it, he had his own dogma like religious people. At least you could have picked someone like your American Robert Green Ingersoll, which I admire and talked as an atheist.

Come on....................read some more books.

Stalin:
1. Had to be obeyed, whether it made sense or not
2. Had to be praised
3. Punished those who did not believe in him

That may remind you of someone, and should answer your question.

We did until we decided that George Bush is the real antichrist and took Uncle Joe's pictures down and burned them.

Do christians have a portrait of Hitler over their beds? He was, after all, a devout christian. To deny that is to deny the truth.

Why would you focus on picking on the atheists, don't you know they can't understand spirtual matters? You might as well pick on a litle child for not being potty trained yet.
