back on the market but confused?

i am now putting myself back on the market and people keep telling me that i need to "put myself out there more" i have no clue what this even means... I am just looking for a girl to make happy and someone to spend time with.. but what does i need to put myself out there more mean... and how do i do this

Put yourself out there... means make yourself available and go out. Put yourself in places where prospective girlfriends can see you. They aren't going to come knocking at your door. You have to be "out there", in the world, for them to see and notice you. Join something, a bowling league or a co-ed gym. Go to girls softball games on a saturday afternoon. Go to the park and play frisbee with a friend or borrow someone's dog and take it for a walk at the dog park.
