i was thinking of something with computers or something that has to do with law enforcement.

There are never any guarantees. Aircraft carrier jobs are also found around the rest of the fleet, for the most part. You might think about aviation technician, or something like that.

The recruiters might be able to help you ... but I doubt you will get much truth from them.

with the exception of the Submarine specific ratings, any job in the Navy can be found on an aircraft carrier.

Military Police or Logistics. Aircraft carriers are too restricted + its virtually impossible to gain decisive promotion.

ordnance. it wont be guaranteed, but it will be a good chance. Or aviation mech.
