i dont know if all these other guys are boxers but im an amature and i jump rope for up to 35 minutes, most pros do that as well. make sure you you arent bending your knees to much or else you could be putting to much pressure on them, also if you have a hard sole shoe they could put uneeded pressure, but your calfs should be sore.
keep up the good work

You did it for too long and you may have jumped rope on a hard surface which isn't good for you feet, ankles, shins or knees. If you are going to jump rope no more than 15 - 20 minutes max. If you'd like to do it in 3 minute rounds then no more than 5 rounds. Lay off the rope for awhile until your knees have recovered.

I don't know anything about boxing training but that seems like a long time to jump rope. That is a constant pounding to your knees, I would take a few days off from the rope and then start back gradually or maybe do 10 min. before a workout then 10 min. after you workout.

Jumping rope can still hurt you. It always bothered my feet because you are landing on the balls of your feet. Jumping rope is good exercise and helps your hand-eye-foot coordination, but you don't need to jump for 35 minutes. If you are looking for cardiovascular conditioning try running or riding a stationary bike, it will not put the strain on your legs and feet that jumping rope is doing. Try jumping rope for a few rounds, that is 3 minute intervals with 1 minute rest at a fast pace and then do something else.

Well, you just OVERDID it! Even boxers don't do that. Four to five rounds (3 mins. per) of skipping rope is more than enough.

if you were jumping rope before you were pregnant its more than okay to jump rope while pregnant, docs just dont advise taking on a whole new extreme work out plan cause it can strain you. if your worried talk to your doctor.
