Well, what happens is that my boyfriend got a new job, more hours and he was promoted. We had this conversation and he asked me if I could help him to manage his money because sometimes he feels like he spends too much and then he doesn't know how the money went.
He tells me how much is in his account then he tells me what he is planning to do (we are not living together)
The reason why he asked me to help him, is because I have more time working than him and I have a savings habit, I never run out of money, I know how to control it.
I don't know if is okay, in someway I feel like I'd be invading his privacy, and we are not living together, plus, I've just told him a couple of times about my finances but not my whole activity.

He's asked you to do this because he knows he's not doing a very good job of it by himself and knows you'll do better. There is no problem with that he wants you help with something he's not good at is all.

IT'S TOTALLY RIGHT YOU HELP HIM OUT WITH THIS FOR HE DOES NOT KONW HOW TO DO IT RIGHT.... JUST THINK OF THIS... HE TRUSTS IN YOU SO GO AHEAD AND DO NOT ONLY MANAGE HIS MONEY BUT TEACH HIM LITLLE BY LITTLE HOW TO HANDLE THAT HIMSELF. AFTER ALL HE'LL BE BETTER OFF BY TAKING CARE OF HIS OWN BUSINESS BY HAVING GOTTEN YOUR HELP. IT IS TOO EASY FOR HIM TO RELY ON YOU AND "PASS YOU ON" THAT RESPONSIBILTY WHICH IS ONLY HIS. DO NOT PAMPER AND SPOIL HIM THAT WAY. JUST GO AND TELL HIM:

"HEY LOOK IT HONEY, IF YOU THINK I TAKE BETTER CARE OF MONEY THAN YOU DO, I FEEL FLATTERED, BUT KNOW THAT I WAS ONCE LIKE YOU ARE NOW BUT SOMEBODY OR SIMPLY LIFE TAUGHT ME HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY, SO IF YOU WANT MY HELP I'LL HELP YOU ... BUT I'M NOT GOING TO DO IT FOR EVER, INSTEAD...I'LL TEACH YOU HOW TO DO IT SO LET'S SIT DOWN AND PLAN YOUR BUDGET FOR THIS WEEK"

AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS YOU CAN START PLANNING LONGER PERIODS UNTIL YOU LET HIM FLY ALL ALONE BY HIMSELF, HE'LL APPRECIATE THAT AND WILL BE THANKFULL TO YOU FOR EVER...
