Smoking is bad and it is proved beyond any doubt. That is why they write on the cigerette packet "Smoking causes cancer". Cancer is a killer disease. your spirt cant get any good if the same does bad for your physical body. Just becos few cigerette companies want to make money, they do this kind of propaganda. As long as you are living in this world your spirit needs a good healthy physical body. If the later is affected surely the spirit is also affected more. Even if you are not smoking we can stay alive for more days than if you are smoking without food.

Smoking is bad for everyone including the non-smokers who happen to be near the smoker.
Everyone knows that it is a proven medical fact that smoking kills including passive smoking.
So how can something that is threatening your life be good for spiritualism?
I know your question is supposed to be funny and it did make me laugh, but I am the great anti-smoker and this issue takes priority over your fun.
Also, why does fasting and spiritualism necessarily go together?
I know in my religion (Judaism) we are eating and being spiritual at the same time except for certain fast days.

spirituality is mainly dependent on vayu i.e air which u inhale and exhale.
in good olden days rishi's and muni's are living without food and water by taking only breath.
bcuz air is that much important for the life.
may be in some times now we are seeing some persons are smoking.
i hope it is not required for spirituality.
in this physical life any one can njoy anything but it should not be habituated. bcuz we took this birth for learning and njoying.

May be I will start smoking for the spiritual growth. Now tell me which brand will be better? Imported cigarettes are considered to be better. What do you say?
