As an atheist, if I could choose what happened after my death it'd have to be something like. Eternal life, happiness, no evil.
Now, if you want to convince people to believe in something, doesn't this seem like the perfect showpiece to convert them?

Man will lives eternally is a fact and not a fable.
The question is not whether one will lives eternally but rather WHERE ?
With God - in His Presence or;
without God - but what makes life there unbearable is that His Presence can also be felt there, in spite of the fact that you have denied His Reality and Existence all your live here on Earth.
You will have your eternity life to regret it !
Whereas, I have the whole of eternity to appreciate and adores HIM !

not really because people want evil. In christians eyes evil includes getting drunk, smoking, doing drugs, indiscriminate sex, gambling etc. etc.
I know quite a lot of people who have rejected christianity because of that promise of perfect heaven.

It's not you, it's heaven. Actually it's people who made up heaven to allure others to convert into a faith and then control them with it.

heaven sounds like a pretty cool place... so does never never land... i gues we'll see when we die what happens... who knows... maybe we jsut get burried and thats it
