Hi James
Good question because we usually do talk of "God's love" rather than "Jesus' love". Jesus himself spoke clearly about His love for us in John 15:9, "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love" and verse 13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" - in other words demonstrating true love through the greatest sacrifice anyone could make. See also v 10 and 12, in fact the whole chapter is worth reading.

John 13:1
"It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love. "
but i wasnt alive when jesus was walking the earth... so do i count?
i think it is just interprated to mean "jesus loves you" as with most things in the bible.. they dont exactly say this or that.. they are interpreted that way

Jesus whole life was one whole life of loving us. I think His love is best seen when He opened the gates of heaven, enabling us to enter our true home in heaven. He did this by paying for our transgressions or sins by dying on the cross to save us from hell. This is known as the Victory of Calvary or the Victory of the Cross. This is the story on Good Friday. Also on Holy Thrusday, He left a sacrament of Himself. He became Bread to be with us forever and feed our souls with His Body and Blood. In the Mass we renew in an unbloody manner the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. But His every action and word was of love.

somethings are implied not said...
Not sure if its in the Bible or not I should know my Bible better... I do know Jesus prays for us in Mark I think it is so why would he pray for someone he dosent love, besides Jesus is God so if God loves, then guess what so does Jesus

During the Passover meal, when Judas Iscariot left them, Jesus said to His disciples to love one another as He has loved them. It's clear there that as He loves his disciples He also loves us. His death on the cross for all humanity is a clear demonstration of His unconditional love for us.

Ephesians 5:2 "And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God...."
It's also demonstrated in Christ's actions in agreeing to be punished as if he had led our lives so we could be received by God as if we had led Christ's life.

John 3:16 (NIV)
" For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
He loves u enough to send his one and only son to die on the cross so that we will not perish but spend eternally with him in heaven :)

God is love, and Jesus is God so it's clear that Jesus loves you.
St Paul says in on of his letters "He has loved me and given himself up for me." (I think it is in Romans not sure though)
