Im a gas station attendant im 21 its about 2 am and a a lady walks in shes driving an 06 grand pri she gave me 6 bottles thats 60 cent and one dollar and eleven cents in pennies i she walked out and told me ''times is hard and smiled'' i aid wait ill put a gallon on there she said thnks and she pumped and left than my head just starts hurting i felt soooo bad i thaught to myself i couldve done more i couldve given her more gas but i didnt and i thaught i couldve tried to get her a job at this restaurant that my friend owns but i didnt i feel terible now Should I feel this bad am i like over reacting am i being stupid why is it bothering me? and no she wasnt hot for those of u who r ready to say that i just want her number ....

When you feel bad, you are contradicting your deeply held beliefs and intentions. You cannot easily change your beliefs, but you can change your thoughts to match up with who you really are deep down.
Wish her the best in your mind. Also understand that each person is responsible for their own life.
Can you refocus on uplifting thoughts? This would be better than your current state of feeling bad about things you did not do.
If you are really focused on being a "helper", you can start by thinking about some things to offer those in need now. Then you will have them when the time comes. You will have a bag like Santa available to such people.

your not stupid it's human nature to feel like that. Don't be so hard on yourself. I bet that she was greatfull for what you did do for her. If she needs a job she'll find one if she wants too. You shouldn't give a person your all because there are so many scam artist out there. I'm not saying that she was a scam artist but next time it could be.
