I'm watching something about it on the history channel, and I am very skeptical about these people who claim to have seen a UFO close up (not the normal lights flashing in the sky) I remember seeing something from the 50's and some guy with an indian head dress said he was taken to jupiter, LOL.

We can always speculate, and assume there is life, based on the immense size of the universe, but I won't believe until I see something that is irrefutable.

I've never been taken anywhere, (what space ship could cram a moose onto it's deck) but one afternoon, I was traveling home on the express bus from work along the river parkway and I saw this Vitamin E capsule thing hovering over the river, just ... hovering there! Not being a particularly shy person, I pointed out the window and said in a loud voice, "What the hell is THAT thing?"

People on the bus all looked out the window and people across the aisle got up from their seats to lean down and see out our windows. Suddenly, the thing traveled sideways a bit, then shot up straight into the clouds out of sight. Boy, does THAT ever get a bus full of complete strangers talking like co-workers and old friends. Some of us got off at my stop and we stood around and discussed it for 20 minutes!

There was a report on the news later about a UFO being sighted.

Oo,o,o,o,o,o,o,o, scary!

I am a very skeptical person. I love physics and astronomy and have read many books by carl sagan, Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, etc. and consider myself very educated for someone without a degree in either subject. I don't believe in astrology, psychics, superstition, gods, or mysticism of any kind. I also used to not believe in UFO's. Given the distances between stars, especially stars with systems, the chances are almost nill that any alien civilization could, or would visit our system in the short time (cosmologically speaking) that humans have been around.
The statistics just don't add up. Butt...
On September 28th 2001, two of my friends and myself bore witness to a group of airborne objects travelling at very high speeds and making very strange and abrupt changes in formation. It is very hard to explain in words how they moved about, darting almost instantaneously to seperate parts of the formation, then traveling straight again. The formation itself was composed of around 30 to 50 of them darting about each other constantly, but as a group, it moved across the sky like a very fast moving amoeba. Gradually and smoothly changing shape moving as a whole formation, but individaul units changing position very very quickly to create those movements. This I can say with absolute certainty, they were intelligently controlled, but NOT by a human mind or collection thereof.
Like I said, very hard to put into words.
I am telling you now, I am very sure that most of the people who say things about ufo's are idiots who misidentify a helicopter etc. or are doing it for publicity, but make no mistake about it. Ufo's are very very real. You have my word.

I've heard several very smart and quite sane people give good arguments for it, scientists, NASA employees. I also have seen several videos that look very convincing. No craft we know of could do some of those maneuvers. These were no vague flashing lights from some distance either. Although there are plenty of those kinds of doubtful videos out there for sure.

LOL, Anything could happen I guess. At least that is what we are told more and more. Is it really so hard to believe that we are able to visit other planets( we do this alot) And that maybe they have living beings that visit ours. Is that so hard to believe. Are we so arrogant that we must be the only living beings in our solar system???

If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.

I think probably yes. I certainly hope so. Hope they land soon and teach us how to move on. But it won't happen with Christians around since they would nuke those "demons".
