i knew a Muslim who inform me that his prayers were actually answered by God, and also a Christian who told me that God also answered his prayers.

so how can you explain this? if both Muslim and Christian say that the other religion is wrong, then how can both prayers from both Muslim and Christians are being answered by God? so does that mean they worship the same God?

God Almighty is just.
God Almighty listen every sincere, seriouse, and whole heartedly call from believers.
True believers are promised to get rewards even life after death as well, while non believers will get there rewards only in this world, for their good deeds.
Believers will be rewarded in this world and life after as well, but God Almighty knows what is best for them.
God Almighty listen every call from believers and give according to His own decission best for believer at that time.

This is a great topic for discussion and may take a bit of space.

Any way conclusion is God Almighty rewarsd every one for their good deeds in this world, but rewards after life is only for True Believers, who have True faith on Only True God Almighty without sharing of authority / power and any kind of association with humans.

Christians and Muslims do not worship the same God - ask a practicing Muslim who will confirm that their god (Allah) has no son. Christians believe in God in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit - by definition Muslims worship another god!
Can't quote you the exact verse but the Bible states that "...the rain falls on the just and the unjust...." thus for example, even unbelievers could understand that God had answered their prayers. Search your bible with an open mind and you will find faith in Jesus.

As much as this will piss off other Christians, God is no respecter of persons. He answers sincere prayers from all kinds of people. Prime examples are the 12-step recovery folks who rely on the God of their understanding as their Higher Power and stay sober in all that that means, which is a whole lot more than simply stopping drinking.

christian believe that god has a son(Jesus) and they don't worship god only they worship three persons the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but us Muslims we only worship Allah and we believe Jesus peace be upon him is just a messenger from god he sent him to tell the people to worship god only, Allah doesn't have a son.
prayers that are answered can be something that was written to happen wither you prayed for it or not for example let say that you wanted a job and you prayed for it you got the job but not because you prayed just because it was in your destiny to get this job anyway got it?
so if you were praying to a cow for example for that job and you got it does that mean the cow answered you prayer?

God will not punish you on earth by not answering your prayers so he might answer anyones prayers on earth and punish them in the life after. And Christians believe in Trinity, and Muslims believe in 1 God, and Christians believe Jesus is the son of God, while Muslims believe that God does not have any sons, and that Jesus was a Messenger of God who came to preach the message of Islam and spoke when he was an infant to save his mother from the cruel comments of the people of her time and he cured people and was given miracles (with the will of god) so people thought he was god and worshipped him instead and thats how Christianity was formed according to Muslims.

If you saw your friend and he asked you to borrow 5pounds/dollars to him, you would. If you saw a homeless guy in the street who asked you for some money, you'll chuck him a bit of change because he needs it.

I reckon, because both believe there God is just and loving, that which ever God is real is answering prayers for his people and lending a hand to the other guys, wether they be muslim or christian.

They are both deluded.

Praying to a jug of milk results in the same effect as praying to any god. Do you think the jug answers prayers?

No. Just because a person prays for something, and it comes to pass, does not mean that God did it.

In the book of Genesis we read that when Moses( by God's power) turned his staff into a snake, Pharao's magicians did the same thing by the power of Satan.

It is not our experiences that determine truth. (We are easily deceived). God's word, the Bible, is our only reliable source of truth.

The Christians want to go to heaven and the Muslims want to help them get there.

So if GOD was answering their prayers, all Christians would be dead.
