Key phrase: "of the imagination ".
Atheism is not about rejection of ideas. It simply rejects the supernatural. You can discuss tales of the supernatural without believing in the supernatural.
It's the concept that the "Why are there atheists here?" retards don't get.

of course that's healthy i watch Angel the vampire with a soul and find the morality lessons and wit quite interesting but I know it's not real . Although it is neat the way they separate good from evil by mostly monsters are evil and humans innocent .Even the Christian paradigm in the light of a godless real world has carried great moral issues into the common view for critique and application .

I have to say that i have lost part of my ability of getting scared, which actually isn't as good as it sounds, cause i don't enjoy horror stories as i used to.
Edit
Yes it's become a pain when a good horror book, gives you the same reaction than a fantasy one. Sometimes i wish i could go back to the time when i was a kid, and a good horror book could almost scare the **** ot of me.

Well, sort of. I like fantasy too, I love Harry Potter and scifi - (just finished watching Pan's Labyrinth, pretty cool) but my issue is people who think they are real. I have the same issues with people who think magic and witchcraft and stargates are real - it's illusion and stories, not reality folks! Worse, they try to use their beliefs to justify horrible things....

Yeah, of course you can. Atheism is merely the non-belief in gods, doesn't mean you can't enjoy fiction anymore.

sooner or later as a former aethist we will realize that we as human beings really are fragile,...then the need for a God will surface and unless you seek the truth you will stumble into believing or fabricating into myths but its all a work of the enemy its the enemy working in your nature of rebelling against the truth against the one true God.
