The type of women who are godly tend to hate themselves because they tend to be fat and homely looking. And the guys are such complete nerds that even the average straight woman happens to be tougher than they.

i think it is the idea that GOd doesnt care what you look like and wants you to be as "he" made you..... kind of like amish people.. they wear very simple colors.. full length dresses and white hair bonnet things to cover their hair (women) and dont weat frills or makeup or jewelry because it is considered a vanity and being vain is in some ways a sin i suppose.... they are to only wear what is necissary and cover up thier body as to not be sexually desired because that is for marriage and making baby purposes only.... i think it all goes with the same concept... I went to school with a girl like that.. her mom was really wierd and strict and she wasnt allowed to "do" her hair, makeup or have "frilly" clothing.. jsut very basic things becuase her priority was not to attract people or be "popular" only to go to school to do her academics and she could have freinds, but only allowed very limitied time with them as well as activities as too much fun was "bad" and she didnt want them to lure her into bad things i suppose...

Well, I'm a born again christian. I'm not fat i can't be because I'm a runway/catwalk model and have been for 10 years. Nerds, i don't know any nerds.
And the people i know who hate themselves are high paid models driving around in convertibles and living the high life to get away from the fact they hate themselves for being so perfect looking. There is a lot of pressure dished out to the gorgeous people. It's hard being gorgeous believe me!.

If you only knew. I'm a "Godly" woman (by your standards) and although I think I'm a bit overweight (as do half the women in the world) I'm definitely not homey and there are just as many nerds and wimps in the "non-Godly" world as their are in the "Godly" world.

now you are going to hell for lying! just kidding, but that was wrong to say something like that. ive seen some really handesome guys and pretty girls in church. Godly ppl self haters? thats not true either!! i actually started loving myself and got peace within once i started serving God.

I think a lot of Chrisitans are caught up in religion and very stoic. I myself as a Chrisitan believe you should take care of yourself. Just because a woman is a believer doesn't mean they should look like a slob.

I have found spiritually based men and women are responsible and find charity to give to others in times of need.
They tend to be more aware of their spiritual self than their physical self.

my family including me are godly type people but we are not self haters nor we don't hate anyone else
