If you are self employed I am sure you could earn that type of money.
I know Cairns is hanging out for any sort of tradesman.
See if this site would help you.

Like anywhere if your self employed the harder and more hours you work the more money you will earn. The figures you have been given sound like the type of money you should earn. Yes there can be that much of a difference.
There is a real shortage of skilled tradesmen in Australia and Perth in particular at the moment. So you should not have many difficulties to find work.

It so dependent on so many different factors that it's really impossible to give you an exact estimate.
If you went out and worked on the mines you would be easily earning $2000, but closer to Perth, you'd probably be earning a whole lot less, but of course, this is dependent again on what sort of work you were doing in Perth. If you were working for government housing companies or as a contractor for the government you'd probably earn close to $2000 because of the housing shortage, but of course, this is very dependent on government policy, and what's policy at the moment, may very well not be policy in a few months time.
This means that it's extremely hard to give an accurate figure on how much you stand to earn because it varies so wildly.

Like I said in my last answer to your question.....it is possible to earn up to $2000 a week but that doesn't mean that you definately will. It depends on the company you work for etc. There is a severe shortage of all building trades here in Perth...with house building delays of over 2 years...so there is definately work here to be had.

It depends how many hours you do and how often you work, who pays your wages. If you need an accurate amount, why not enquire with plastering company so somebody is in control of your wages

go to perth for a visit first & check it out for yourself. you should take a good look around at all the alternatives i.e. housing, suburbs, mines or city life etc. - before you leap into migrating.
