No they would not.

The commandment is "thou shalt not murder" which is not the same as killing in time of war.

I can't speak for that person, but I am sure he or she will be affected by the fact they committed murder. God understand what we don't, we are not supposed to all the time. That's the secret to a greater relationship with Christ. I'll say that prayer helps, and works. To go ahead and leave what we cant understand in God's hands, is the best place for any of us to do. Repent, and ask for forgiveness. God knows before we all go, he made sure he put someone in our path way to talk about his word, and if that someone didn't do what they were asked to do by him, that blood your talking about is in that one persons hands, that is why we will have judgment day! Take care!!!

A soldier is acting as an agent of the government and the Bible doesn't teach that soldiers who are in combat have "blood guilt" for doing their duty.

King David killed alot of men during wars in his day but God never loved him any less, but being Christian I think increases or challenges our tolerance towards people in the coming of this age.
