Dale said many times that she was the best thing to ever happen to him, and before he was with Teresa he owed the bank money, but after Teresa started handling the business the bank owed him money. Teresa was the driving force behind starting DEI and the diecast sales business. If the business were to eventually go to the children, it would have to be a 4-way split between Kerry, Kelly, Dale Jr. and Taylor, NOT the 51% that Dale Jr so greedily demnaded. Why is the Red Army not jumping on Jr's case for ruining things at DEI, instead of picking on Teresa?

Teresa's dad was a racer, and her uncle was the famous Tommy Houston of Hickory NC. She grew up steeped in racing so whne people say she doesn't know racing they merely show their own ignorance on the matter.

Well first of all I have never bad mouthed Teresa. Only because i feel DEI is her company and nobody has the right to take it away from her! If Jr couldn't work with her or he wasn't happy then he should have just left without causing any of the drama he caused with the family and the fans. I'm glad Teresa never gave up. She is a strong person and i Respect her very much!!
Go RCR!!!
Go Jeff Burton!!!

No Guilt, and I am NOT a Jr. fan. DEI should belong to the children, it is their legacy. Teresa may have been good for Dale, but she is far from it for Jr. I find her to be an unwilling, unrelenting tyrant - maybe that's what her husband needed to keep him in check, but that kind of attitude went out with the stone ages. I have no desire to see her at a track or event, or on TV.

plain and simple -Teresa is a money hungry -itch. of course she was a good wife to Sr--look what she stood to inherit ( and did) upon his death. she knew the children were to get it but no--she wanted all for herself. of course in 5 years time she'll have run it in the ground and it couldn't happen to a more deserving hag!! and how did Jr ruin things at dei? moving on was what is best for him so that he can finally get a decent car and win his well deserved championship

Nobody doubts that she was a good business women and helped Dale start DEI.
Everybody doubts her racing knowledge and ability to get along with step children. Now that its just her in charge do you really think she did anything on the racing side of things when Dale was around? Of course not. Dale took care of racing stuff and she took care of the business stuff.
Everybody knew Dale wanted DEI to go to his 4 kids someday and we knew he wasn't going to let them have it until he felt they were ready. You know Jr would have split his 51% with Kelly, Taylor, and Kerry. Its just the kind of person he is. He wasn't going to keep it but he knew he was the only one in position to maybe get some ownership. Kerry really isnt really in racing (his son Jeffery is), Kelly and Taylor work there but Jr is the face of the company.

For Dale Sr., you're right, Teresa was the best thing that ever
happened for him. But Dale Jr. only wanted to have
controlling interest in DEI. 51% would have given it to
him. But that 51% would have been split up between his brothers and sister, who would have given him their proxy vote. I think Jr. knows how to run DEI to make it a winner again, Teresa doesn't.

Dale Sr. even said he created the business to pass on to his kids. The business is theirs to run, and Teresa is not honoring her late husband's wish.

I think that the "wicked witch", Teresa, is vindictive against anyone who has anything to say that she doesn't like.
