my mum nags bout me asking her for money, but then goes and spends a huge amount on unnecessary health products. i freelance to get some extra cash but the cheques come in too late. im completely broke but my mum doesnt understand. im into varous exta curricular activities so that i can have a good cv for when i apply for college, but she keeps telling me to stop all im doing if i dont have the money to support my work. what should i do to make her realise that this is imp for my future studies??

If it is that important, then you need to get a part-time job of some sort, and you probably need to cut back.

Try talking to the people running these extra-curricular activities, and try also talking to your guidance counselors... maybe there are some aid programs to help in paying for some of these, or they can suggest the ones that will look best on your CV for your degree field.

Holding employment is good for a CV, too, and would probably count.
