Our bedroom has the baseboards all around the edges of the bottom wall and our bed is as far against the wall as it will go but because of the baseboard every time we get in bed it bangs against the wall, is there like one of those doorknobs bangers or anything that can keep this from happening to contain that space in between the bed and the wall?

We have an older bed so the base is not very stable, if we moved the bed away from the way a couple of inches it would bang even harder.

Is there a rubber knob or something I can put in between the bed and the wall?

Don't have sex! (Just kidding!) Seriously, the first thing that comes to mind is the foamy door stops that stick to the walls with double sided tape. Placing those in strategic locations should solve your problem. You can pick them up at Wal-Mart. If noise is the concern I don't think this will solve the problem totally. You may to get some thick styrofoam or foam and attach it to the back of the headboard where it can't be seen but will absorb the slapping. Finally consider re-attaching the headboard to the frame with bolts through the headboard that you can tighten and stop the motion. Not knowing your frame you may need to drill holes for the bolts.
Good luck and good luv!

my headbord banged against my wall too, and the bottom of the bed was against the wall but the top of my headboard still banged, this is what i did, i wedged a hard plastic food container between the bed and the wall where i had my gap of space and it worked!

but yeah if you could get a rubber door things that was big enough to fill your gap then go for it. or use a peice of wood or something wedged between the wall and your headbord might work!

You can put a foam pad between the bed and the wall.

Or, if you sleep on the floor this will eliminate the problem entirely.

If you go to a store like Walmart and purchase weather stripping, this would help. The weatherstripping is easy to cut and form around edges of your bed frame. It comes in many different sizes. The weatherstripping is also self adhesive. I believe the product name is thermo king.

I think the problem is when you're getting IT on...... all you have do is stuff a pillow between the headboard and the wall... I've done it hundreds of times and it works everytime..........

What an interesting question. I would purchase some brackets and attach the bed to the wall at a point near the mattress. (So you can not see it)
