It does not take sources and websites for any American to know what problems these people have been and are still causing in the United States. This help? with your homework.

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens
each
year. http://tinyurl.com/zob77

such as
food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of
English! http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.0.html

American-
children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused
by
the illegal aliens.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0604/01/ldt.01.html

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's
two and
a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their
children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the
United
States . http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0606/12/ldt.01.html

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens
that
crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from

Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth,
heroine and

marijuana, crossed into the U. S. from the Southern border. Homeland
Security Report : http://tinyurl.com/t9sht

12. The National Policy Institute, "estimated that the total cost of
mass

of
between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period."

14. "The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex
Crimes
Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States " .
http://www.drdsk.com/articleshtml
So using the LOWEST estimates, the annual cost OF ILLEGAL ALIENS is
$338.3
BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR! So if deporting them costs between $206 and
$230
BILLION DOLLARS,……We should deport them, We'll be ahead after
the 1st
year!!!

I've seen a lot of people making claims that illegal immigrants cost us a lot of money in social programs. They also make vague claims of criminality, although these are largely unsubstantiated, and almost entirely exaggerated, apart from identity fraud. The people who've focused on the financial aspects have ignored the fact that the illegals usually do pay taxes (this is why they're using fake SSNs, so that they can pay taxes), and that while they do suppress wages in some sectors, they also suppress costs to businesses, and hence to consumers, and, in some cases, their low wage labor is responsible for keeping businesses from folding due to foreign competition. They don't normally pay property taxes to support schools, but they do pay rent to landlords who would get tax abatements if their apartments were empty.

I don't want to suggest that everything about immigration is good for everyone. There are some clear losers due to immigration - mainly low skill Americans who have to compete with people willing to work harder for less money. On the other hand, the rest of us benefit a lot from this low cost labor, but a lot of the time, we don't realize the benefits when they're coming in.

The problem, then, is the social system which gives out too many benefits, not the immigration. Nearly every specific thing people mentioned could be solved by allowing all these immigrants to come in legally, but cutting them off from social services.

Definitely not!!! Over 60,000 American Citizens Dead at the hands of illegal aliens in since 9/11. This is more Citizens then were lost in the Viet Nam war in less then half the time. Over 130,000 sexual assaults on American Citizens each year by illegal aliens. Increased drugs, prostitution, crime, gang members, violence, kidnapping, stolen identification, lost jobs. Increased cost to education, health care, prison, social systems. America has paid a price far to high to ever be paid back. It needs to stop now and we need to hold our government accountable. Legal immigrants are beneficial and should be welcomed with open arms.

One specific problem is a breakdown in the competitive labor market. Many employers in the trades, i.e. construction, maintenance, food service, etc., hire, knowingly, undocumented illegal immigrants. They, in turn, pay substandard or lower wages to these employees, often off the books. As an employer "playing by the rules", you would be at an unfair disadvantage because your labor costs would be higher and you would have less prospective employees to choose from than your competitor.

I don't need to cite web sites I will tell exactly what I have seen in my job, and I won't even use the case of a Mexican National so you can't say I am being racist towards them.

1. A gentleman from China came here to visit his son because his wife was sick. Once they got here they checked her into a US Hospital so she could have the best care available. Tragically she ended passing away. The problem is once that happened the gentleman went home to China without paying his $47,000 hospital bill. That bill was picked up by the tax payers
2. I see many people come in from the Philipines. They lived here just long enough to earn their green card for themselves and their family. Then they immediately move back to the PH. Their children however come back to attend the State Universities. Since they are green card holders they qualify for the in-state tuition. Tuition that is subsidized by taxpayers.
3. I also see green card holders come here just long enough to qualify for social security. Sadly it is just a couple of years and they start getting the money. They then move back to the Philipines or Thailand and have the checks sent there where they live like kings. They do not own houses here, they do not live here. They just come once a year for a couple weeks to say they were here and keep the checks coming. Of course I have been paying into social security since I was a teenager and they say it won't be there for me when I retire.

There are three off of the top of my head, I could go for hours. All of these instances are a violation of the INA, and these people are out of status. We refer people in each of these instances and have tried enforcement actions in each of these instances. All of these actions (100%) were blocked by the courts or Senators and we told to let them go. Each one costs each of you money every day and is totally illegal.

Identity theft, driving without insurance, drug smuggling, murder, avoiding debts by fleeing across the border.

One lady I know had her disabled, 89 year old, nursing home bound husband removed from the Social Security list because he was working five states away and making too much money to qualify for Social Security.

Because he had a Spanish name, an illegal stole his ID and caused all kinds of problems for him and his wife. (she lost her Social Security as well)

The only benefit illegal aliens are is to the business that hires them. The employer will often send word out that he needs one. They come across to answer hiscall. He/She uses them until they get hurt or become unable to do the work. Then they retire in Mexico.

America has always been conflicted about immigration, mostly because illegals work for less and reduce labor prices for lower income jobs. Unfortunately, Immigration has skyrocketed since President Reagan tightened it up in 1986. At that time, he gave amnesty to 3.5 million illegal aliens with the promise that employer sanctions would prevent future illegal immigration. But now it has reached crises proportions. They estimate 800,000 have come in each year, and deportations have averaged 15,000 a year (to 187,000 last year). with the estimated population at 7.5 to 20 million, it is growing geometrically and scaring people.

Illegal immigration is uncontrolled immigration. T

Many "illegals" are fine citizens, but many are criminals, drug dealers, wife beaters, public charges, drunks, etc. etc. Their illegal status breeds crimes like identity theft and pickpocketing (to obtain identity documents), credit fraud and tax evasion. Since we do not know who is here, we do not know the percentage of "good" to "bad."

Our nations businesses are crying out that we need more foreign employees, and liberals are crying that international conventions on human rights demand kinder treatment of disadvantaged foreigners. But our conservative minority cries out that they use social services (as if there were alot of social services in the US) and that they do not want any more mexican illegals (or others for that matter) and that we should deport them all.
