My pastor would be the first one to tell you he is not infallible. No priest or preacher is infallible.

I have never heard of any Christian denomination who believes their pastor/priest to be infallible. The only Christians who believe that their leader is capable of making an infallible statement are the Roman Catholics, and even then infallibility depends of all kinds of stipulations. All other Christian denominations reject the concept of infallibility in any human being whatsoever.

Catholic priests are not personally infallible. But the official teaching authority of the Church Christ founded for all mankind IS infallible. Chriat made that clear when He told the early leaders of His Church, "whatsoever you bind upon earth is bound in heaven", and "the Holy Spirit will guide you to all truth". Priests have access to that infallible teaching, as do all Catholics.

There is no claim for the infallibilty of any pastor, priest, or bishop.
The Pope may claim infallibilty under certain conditions.
The authentic church however, is guided from age to age by the Holy Spirit, and cannot teach error in matters of doctrine or morals.
The people who govern the church have not always practiced what they preached, though.

It's a fact. All priests and pastors are infallible. They're always right. No priest or pastor has ever made a mistake. If that bugs you - too bad. I don't make the rules.

PASTORS AND PRIESTS ARE PEOPLE JUST LIKE ME AND YOU. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THAT THEY WERE CALLED BY GOD TO LEAD HIS FLOCK, BUT BEING A HUMAN THEY ARE OF THE FLESH SO THEY SIN, BUT JUST LIKE US THEY ARE FORGIVEN.
SO NO I DON'T THINK MY PASTOR IS INFALLIBLE JUST FORGIVEN
16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
[20] For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
[21] But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

All "ministers" of religions are vulnerable to failure, EXCEPT those who have been in HELL and know the prices of it. Of such am I. I am not just a book learned "minister," I am as Saul was before he became "Paul." Many ministers FAIL because they get into the ministry at a young age and delude themselves to believe they can save the world when they have barely left the nest and know little OF this world. The Ministry should be as an Airline Pilot. Before they let you "fly" you have to have so much experience it weeds out the bad and weak ones and only the BEST come out in the end of it all. The most ridiculous thing I see in the world is people who are so gullable to confide personal information to ministers when I myself wouldn't trust most of them no further than I can throw an elephant. Alot of persons get into the ministry to be CRIMINALS and the true failure does not come from THEM it comes from people too ignorant to stand on their own two feet like adults to solve their own problems.....

It should be obvious that no one is infallible. No one should ever believe either a preacher or a scientist without looking at the evidence.
