For the summer try Samuel Adams Summer Ale. It's pretty light for an ale, and it has a hint of lemon in it. If I'm craving a beer on a hot day I'm going straight to it.

My favourite is Alhambra beer. It is brewed in Granada Spain. If you ever come to Andalucia in Spain for a holiday you should try it. You pronounce Alhambra without the "h".

That really depends a lot on your taste. Larger, stout, best bitter?
There is an excellent stout called Cornish Cream, but I would say the best ale is probably Hobgoblin.

The one that you enjoy drinking the most.
I can't stand the big three in the U.S. I think they are rather junky and they care more about mass production rather than quality. So I look for brews that are quality without regard to how well known they are.
