I've been with this guy for a year. I earned more than him but he's family is more well off than my family. I have obligations with my family and his family does'nt oblige him with anything regards to money. When it comes to his own needs like gadgets and others stuffs he is very much willing to spend. But everytime where going out he always telling that he doesnt have money, So I always end up paying for everything. Also he never gave me anything even on my birthday, anniv and christmas.

He is taking advantage of you, and you are letting him... (common thing and something you should work on... it doesn't make you a bad person..)

Women tend to be more giving, thoughtful and free with their money in a relationship... Unfortunately this guy is not being fair and you need to stop it now or you will end up in a relationship where the guy stays at home and eats bon-bons while you are out working and paying bills...

If he has the money to buy gagets, then he has money to take you out and buy presents... Tell him what he does hurts and how you feel... You will see his true feelings and thoughts when you confront him... BE PREPARED though... because you may not like the reaction/result you get...

You can be "petty" and make him face himself harshly by:
Stop going out to eat and make dinner at home, don't go to the movies, etc.. unless he asks.. and when you do, make sure you notify him AFTER you are out that you didn't bring your wallet... But that could also back fire...

My advice is, stand up and tell him what he does makes you feel like and possibly move on.. You deserve better and can easily find a more decent guy ....

Good Luck

If he has money for gadgets, then he should have money for you. If this is a contention now, then what will happen several years down the road??? Think about this relationship seriously. Do you want to be feeling this way in 1 year or 2???
