He started throwing up an hour ago, 3 times now. He is being really lathrgic and in his eyes you can see the inner white parts (which are normally not visible). He was fine all day today (running around, playing and such). We haven't changed his diet (nothing in our home has changed) and all the cleaners/poisons are locked up. All the vets are closed right now and I don't know what to do for him. He wont drink water either. Please Please help!

Do his eyes watch movement alertly or are they glazed or just not focusing well? The vet will need to know this.

Does he throw up food or is it bile? Yellow, or brown? Or is it pinkish? They'll need to know this too. Also, does he have diarhea? Watch the litter box for anything unusual. Keep the cat quiet and see if he's aware you're there or if he's in his own small world right now.

I'd suspect something he ate or chewed on, even thread or chewed fabric. If he's tossing up food and can't keep ANY down, the vet should check for pancreatitis first thing tomorrow morning. Be there when the vets opens, you can get an emergency appointment.

He may just have a bacterial infection, or ate a bad can of food.

Check the food to make sure it wasn't on the recall list, and make him as comfortable as you can for the night until you can reach a vet in the morning. Call the vet as soon as you wake up, or as soon as they open (usually 8 or 9AM) and bring him in if he's still not himself in the morning.

See if he'll eat his treats. We can always tell if my cat's not okay if he doesn't eat his treats.

He may have just ate something bad and is now dehydrated from not having anything in his tummy. Try to make him drink water... put it on your finger and rub it on his teeth or put it on his lips if you have to.

Just make him as comfortable as you can until the morning when you can call a vet. Hopefully this will pass overnight!!!!

You might try some olive oil in case it is hairballs. Put it on his paws if he won't lick it.
