Are Unitarians treated better by Christians, than Mormons, even though they don't believe in the Trinity, but believe that Jesus was a prophet of God.
So, are Unitarians considered Christians by the Christian community?

newwellness: "Traditionally, Unitarianism was a form of Christianity. The term may refer to any belief about the nature of Jesus Christ that affirms God as a singular entity and rejects the doctrine of the Trinity. Unitarianism was rebuffed by orthodox Christianity at the First Council of Nicaea in 325, but it resurfaced subsequently in Church history." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitarian_Universalism

Depends. There are some Christians that don't consider anybody outside of their own sect to be Christians.
[ EDIT: I've reconfirmed this for myself from seeing some of the other responses and my thumbs-down votes ]
I think some of their biggest problems with Unitarians is that they're so tolerant of other people, whereas Mormons are usually bashed for having additional canon and perceived "weird" things.

Anyone that rejects the Trinity isn't Christian. The Bible may not use the word "Trinity" but the idea is clearly taught in the Bible and all through church history.
So to keep it simple if you think Jesus isn't God then you have a different God because Christians believe Jesus was and is God.

No, Unitarians are not considered Christians by most of the Christian Community.
(But maybe the Mormons think they are.)

I think they're treated better than Mormons because the Mormon church has a lot of anti-Mormon literature and rumors...but no one really even knows what the UUs are about...
I didn't even know they didn't consider Jesus anything but a prophet...I actually know something about them now(if you are telling the truth) and no they aren't...they're like Muslims who don't accept Muhammad...

I've never heard of the Unitarians. What are some of their beliefs, besides dening that Jesus is the Christ?

I really don't understand your question but I will say that I am a Christian so I try to treat all people with love and kindness no matter what they believe - Christian or not.
That is what being a Christian is all about.

I'm not even sure if unitarians consider themselves christians.
As long as they are not knocking on my door on saturday morning, trying to "save" me, or handing out pamphlets and lectures at the bus stop.
I really don't care what they do. Just leave me alone, religion out of government, and stay out of science. That is all I ask.

"Unitarians" are not saved Christians, because they don't believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven (and if I remember correctly, they don't believe in hell)
Yet the truth of God is that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins and rose again, and if a person believes that, they will be in heaven, and if they reject to their dying breath, they will be in hell for eternity.
Speaking the truth is not "treating you bad". The truth is the truth, no matter how many people believe a lie.

I don't treat Mormons or Unitarians.
Unitarians are not considered Christians because they have officially denied being Christians.

Unitarians aren't Christians, nor are Mormons. Mormons believe Christ is the brother of Lucifer and they also believe they will be a god someday. They are definitely not Christian by Biblical definition.
