I don't know unless you are talking about Mary!
I know of 15 year-olds who had their hymens grow back (no it happens all the time especially with young children who have been molested) and had a C-Section. Does that make them Technically or medically virgins?
Can you have had some penetration put not enough to scar, damage or break the hymen, are you technically a virgin?
Beats me as I haven't seen one in a long time, except children!
By the way, lesbians aren't virgins as the state of being a virgin medically is an intact hymen if there is no other damage. I am sure that many have slept with men as well, or do both!
If you are artificially inseminated and give birth you are not going to have a hymen. When is a virgin a virgin? I suspect virginity is more a an emotional state as a physical one.
Many lose their hymens by bike riding, horse riding, dancing!
Being a virgin is more up to the person than anything else. Loose definitians like intact hymens are really not definitive.
I guess then I would leave being a virgin up to the owner! I don't particularly care for labels anyway, even sexual ones!

I have never heard of a myth that say that you can be both a virgin and a mother. There has only ever been one person that has been a virgin and a mother - The Virgin Mary. Science does not explain everything. Science is based on proof. Now with religion there is no "scientific proof" but it is still real. Religion is about believing without proof. No one has ever seen God but God has spoken to Adam, Moses etc God also had a son who spread the word about God. Jesus died and rose from the dead like he said he would. Now God has given us proof. Does God have to prove it time and time again that he exists? How many times is enough? He has already proven it and that is enough.

In this day and age there actually are two ways a woman can still be a virgin AND become a mother as well... Invitro fertilization and Artificial insemination are the two procedures that come to mind... IF you believe in the bible then you believe that Mary was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus... if you don't believe in the bible (and some don't)...then maybe Mary wasn't such a virgin..???? I'm not sure, I wasn't there...but I do know that if a story is written once, translated roughly into other languages and then re-written over and over again, events , places, facts can all become distorted GREATLY.... think I'm wrong? start a gossipy STORY at work---by the time it gets back to you, it's an entirely different story... ESPECIALLY if you have an office FULL of women... but anyway---whatever your beliefs, I only am mentioning 2 ways NOW that women can become mothers (other then ADOPTION of course).. and still be virgins.

The word for a virgin in Aramaic meant a young nubile woman not as it has been translated into present day language . The myth is a little complicated but still a myth . notice if you will all the saviors were born on the 25th of DEC in each religion and the Egyptian calendar had the sun god Ra and his son Horus because the sun went through the first month of their calendar which was Virgo at that time . the sun begins to rise from the horizon on the 25th of DEC etc. the format for myths in religions is usually based on astronomical myth known as astrology even the three stars aligning with Sirius were called the wise men and they pointed to the rising sun at the horizon .

Motherhood is a human value not something which is inherent.
A woman is considered as mother if she really has what it takes to be a mother, a selfless, brave, kind hearted protective soul who would do anything for her children true progress in right direction.
Those are the qualities which make one a mother.
If u r considering only biological factors and myths then there is high chance of losing the real picture.
My simple answer is any girl who has those qualities if or not if they have children of their own ,then they are mothers indeed.

Why do so many people think that God is a myth? Is it really rational to believe that we came from nothing? Or whatever other argument you may have. Do children come without parents? What if God turned out to be some alien who had a science project? Would you believe in Him then? What if He is a being from another galaxy that is advanced and had to create a solar system here in order to pass a grade? I mean, why are you all such haters? Don't you know that people are the ones who have ruined God's perfection. It wasn't Him. I used to be one of the skeptical but since He has courted me without ceasing, I guess He must be serious about having me as His. I really hate to think about all the people who are going to perish because they chose not to believe in the project. Sad. Very sad. It's a game between players from different sides. You, and me, are merely the pieces of the board that God and Satan have their game played out upon. Why is this so hard to grasp? Maybe it is EGO.

Artificial insemination was apparently attempted on Juana, wife of King Henry IV of Castile. In 1677 the Dutch scientist Anton van Leeuwenhoek saw spermatozoa through the newly invented microscope. More than 100 years later in 1780 an Italian priest and physiologist named Lazzaro Spallanzani performed an experiment in his laboratory that revolutionized the way scientists thought. Until this point scientists had a very primitive understanding of conception largely based on how plants grew. They speculated that the embryo was the "product of male seed, nurtured in the soil of the female." Spallanzani's experiment on dogs proved for the first time that there must be physical contact between the egg and sperm for an embryo to develop. With this new knowledge Spallanzani experimented on frogs, fish, and other animals and was successful.
Efforts to develop practical methods for AI were started in Russia in 1899. Papers on artificial insemination in horses had been published by 1922. By the mid 1940s artificial insemination had become an established industry. In 1949 improved methods of freezing and thawing sperm were developed. The idea for adding antibiotics to the sperm solution came in 1950 from Cornell. Improved methods of sperm collection were developed in the 1970s and 1980s. Research to improve methods of artificial insemination continues and is usually studied under animal science curricula.

If there is but one great truth that comes from reading the Bible it is literacy.
Why can't you accept the Bible? I'll tell you why. It's because you don't think you know God.
God is not a belief. God is not a religion. Science can never disprove God!
In Christianity there is the Father (God, the Creator), the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit (???).
The only sin that will never be forgiven is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy of the Father and the Son will be forgiven, but blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will not (/cannot) be forgiven. ???
How is that possible? What exactly is the Holy Spirit?
How do you seperate the Holy Spirit from God and Jesus?
Why can you doubt God and Jesus, but never doubt the Holy Spirit?
Where is the Holy Spirit?
Look within yourself for the answer.
This is the key that will unlock the Bible. It will help you to understand God.
Down with blasphemy/ Up with God!

You can actually. There are two ways:
A woman who does not wish to have sex but does want to have a child (or a lesbian who has never slept with a man is technically a virgin) can have artificial insemination to become pregnant.
Or a couple is fooling around, and while he never achieves penetration, he is close enough that when he ejaculates, some sperm does get in her vagina and impregnates her.
Those are the SCIENTIFIC ways a woman can become pregnant and a virgin. Granted, the second scenario is not common, but it has been known to occur.
As for Mary, she was probably making something up to cover her cheating on Joseph.

I wish I had a quarter for every time science was wrong. now you got me doing it, I mean science is only as intelligent as the scientist making the statement, and they disagree as much as R&S society & culture. If your a christian this is the Holy mother you are questioning, how could you not question man from the dust, or creating heaven and earth in six days but question this? If your not a christian, or maybe only science orintated, how could you consider lazor surgery, microscopic insertion, time vortex or travel, mind control and artifical insemination and still question this? If you cannot consider this possible on any level, then what can you believe ?
