I've NEVER seen any of the Dummies books in hardcover. Ever.

If you go over to Amazon.com they ALL say 'paperback' so I don't think any of the Dummies books come as a hardcover. She's wrong, I'm pretty sure. Tell her that the bookstores can't order it in hardcover, it's not available.

Hardcover books are extra good than paperbacks. they don't get broken as promptly/truthfully and that they have a tendency to look nicer. yet i think of the main substantial reason is that hardcover books are extra costly, and if that's like an exceptionally estimated e book, there are constantly going to be people who're keen to pay an more desirable cost so as that they are able to examine the e book and not would desire to attend a year or 2 or in spite of the incontrovertible fact that long it takes for the e book to be revealed in paperback. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, if this is a e book that the writer thinks ought to not sell, then they'll maximum probable print it in paperback by way of fact this is extra low-priced to offer and if it is not a huge broker, then they won't have misplaced as lots money. that's all approximately money.

I have never seen any of the "for Dummies" books in anything but paperback. Your neighbor sounds like she needs a "Neighbors for Dummies" book.

If you require the "dummies" book series, you cannot be trusted with hard sharp corners, therefore, only paperback.
