Shouldn't the Christian community do a greater work in supporting the rights and provision of Palestinian Christians, and other Arab Christians than helping Israeli Jews who reject Jesus as the Messiah?
I don't follow much about Israeli laws and such but it seems like they follow a form of apartheid or caste system by treating Jews with darker skin lower than those of European descent. Don't they also issue racist ID cards to Arabs?
Help answer my question Christians.

How is it that those who curse Israel will be cursed and those who bless Israel will be blessed?? I thought we all all covered under God's new covenant established by Jesus? Paul said there is neither Greek nor Jew, etc...
I just feel that the Church is God's Chosen because Christ didn't come just for Jews but for Gentiles also.

Basically because the bible says that those who curse Israel will be cursed and those who bless Israel will be blessed. There is also a prophecy that says that one day Israel will see a massive revival and turn to the true messiah. There are other reasons as well. God bless

It a very OPEN secret that most Evangelic believe that preceding the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ the Jews have to 'do' something. Maybe all the Jews have to convert to Christianity, maybe all the Jews have to come back to Israel, maybe all the Jews have to re-build the Temple. There is no consensus among the Evangelics on what the Jews have to 'do', but they have to 'do' something and has that something has to 'do' with Israel. Therefore, the intense and obsessive interest of one religion [Evangelic Christianity] with another religion [Judaism]. It is NOT because Christians love Jews as Jews, but rather, they see the Jews as an obstacle to Christian fulfillment. In fact, it is much closer to the truth that the Evangelic Christians despise Jews and Judaism since the Evangelic Christian organizations spend so much money and resources trying to convert the Jews. They don’t love Jews as Jews, they only love them as potential converts.
As for the problems that Jews have with Jews. Jews have never claimed to be anything but human and prejudice is part of the ‘down’ side of being human. Israel still struggles with the problems of integration of Ashkenazi and Sephardim Jews. But this is also the country that took over 3 million Sephardim Jews who had been expelled from Arab lands after the Israeli War of Independence and this is the nation that spent millions and millions of bribes and pay-offs to the Ethiopian govt so that it could airlift the Ethiopian Jews to freedom and safety in Israel. And this is the nation that allows and encourages its Arab citizens [about 1 million] the same rights as its Jewish citizens including actively making the Arab political parties a part of many Israeli ruling coalitions. At least we are the nation that is trying and trying

I have not been as strong in support of Israel until a few years ago when I saw first hand the vile and ugly thing they are up against, Islam, Now I strongly support Israel and pray daily for them to regian all the land the Lord God gave them, if that means a billion Muslims are forced into the Red Sea thats fine with me! Since 9/11 my heart has been with the Jews and always will. The Muslims made a better Christian of me.

It is amazing to me that after all these years, the Lord Jesus Christ still hopes the Jews will come back to him. He is heartbroken and very patient and hopeful. If they don't it's their choice. For the rest of us {Christians} we are with Christ and hope they do too. Without them, we would have no Bible. Palestine was never a nation way back when. They were squatters that never went away and now think they have rights to a land they have never owned. Anyone who forces the division of the land of Israel will be sorry. That is why Christian's support Israel. It will happen.

I have read that the Christians believe that Israel must be returned to the Jews, blah, blah, blah, for the Messiah to come. Basically, they support Israel as a Jewish state in the hopes of bringing about Armageddon, after which, in their view, the Jews will be condemned to a horrid eternity.
Gee, aren't they generous?

The thing is, people don't always have answers to all the questions. I as a human, don't understand why God has chosen to keep true to his promise. But I do know that Jesus said " Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12) See this kind of persecution has happened to the Prophets themselves! Just remember we are to "Love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us!"

Those who bless Isreal will be blessed because no matter how much the jewish people do not acknoledge the messiah Jesus was jewish and they are his people. When you curse the line or lineage in which jesus came you are basically cursing him and his descendants.
