im in my late teen with a girlfriend. and i'm having some problems with overprotective and racist parents.

they say i can't go anywhere after 8, and i always need to go places where i know the direction.
my GOD DAMN CURFEW IS 8!
they also want to know what i'm doing in college(this isnt THAT overprotective, but if they check it every hour, it gets very annoying).

i have a girlfriend who is caucasian(i'm asian) they hate her just because she is not asian. they said i shouldn't trust anyone but asian. that the fukc?
there's nothing wrong about my girlfriend. it's not like she is a slut or anything. we started to date just cuz we liked each other and we still do.

i dont have enough money to support myself. but after i get a decent job and make some money, trust me, im living away from them!

until then, what should i do?
i had some serious conversations with my parents, but they don't understand me. i mean, you know, those 'typical' asian parents.

help me please

there is really nothing you can do. just talk to them. some people are just like that and you can not change it.

In my opinion curfew at 8 on school nights isn't bad.
As for your parents' prejudices, it may take years for them to change. So, pace yourself.
You really have to do what they tell you until you are 18. After that, you can move out and support yourself. It may seem like a long time, but it's only a small part of your life really.
Try to get along with them even if you don't agree with them. It really sounds like they care about you, but you don't agree with them. Actually, that's pretty normal in the teen years.
Don't let this girlfriend divide you from your parents, because most likely you will break up with her; this is what usually happens in teen romances. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with either of you. You are just too young to get too serious. I'm not necessarily saying not to see her, you have to use your judgment.
Your parents are yours for the rest of their lives, so don't alienate them too much.

They still look at you as a little boy. But with you in college if you are over 18 there isn't really a whole lot they can do. You are an adult.

Tell them because of an 8 p.m. curfew you can't get a job because most of the places stay open later.
