About a couple of months ago, I was hit in my mouth with a rock and it chipped my front tooth really bad. Since then, I feel like my confidence has greatly decreased. Guys tell me that i used to be sexy, and it hurts when they say that because i dont feel pretty anymore. More than anything, I want to get my teeth fixed, but i am so afraid to go to the dentist. I dont like smiling anymore, but i miss smiling and laughing. People are always talking and making me feel bad. What should I do?

I live in ny and i am trying to find a dentist that can put me to sleep before fixing my teeth. Do anybody know any dentists that specialize in that area?

You can have that tooth repaired and avoid the laughing and teasing. There are several options depending on your case, but most likely your tooth can be fixed painlessly with a material called composite resin. It is a tooth colored material that can be matched to your exact tooth shade and built up to look like nothing ever happened to your tooth. You'll be amazed at the results. You will go in with a broken tooth and come out with a beautiful new perfect looking tooth.

On the chip tooth I will get fixed and than think about braces. I was in the same spot as you back in October back in 2006 and now to day after 10,0000 dollars worth of dental work my teeth are perfect. But I was in far more worse shape than you. But braces will help you and its better to get them now than later because they will crowed real bad.

I dont know how bad your tooth is however if it is something they can just use compostite bonding for then you wont even need to be numb. If you need a crown then you can look for a dentist who uses nitrous (laughing gas). It wont make you go to sleep but it will make you feel "happy" and you wont even know what's going on.

LOOK IN THE YELLOW PAGES TO FIND A DENTAL ANESTHESIOLOGIST.
YOU ARE DEFINITELY TOO NERVOUS FOR STANDARD TREATMENT, ALTHOUGH YOU MAY BENEFIT FROM NITROUS OXIDE, AKA LAUGHING GAS.
