A Chow Chow doesnt bark it does make some noise similar to a grunt/woof, but hardly ever.
They are a fairly high maintenance dog brushing wise as they have long hair, they are very loyal as well.
I used to own one.
Also Siberian Huskies I own now, they dont bark often-hardly ever, but they have been known to howl the place down occasionally!! lol

Basenji. They have more of a yodel than a bark, but they still make noise!

A basenji does not "bark" but makes a sound much like a woman's scream, so which is worse? LOL

The Basenji.
Even though they don't bark, they do make a "yodling" type noise.
