Why is washington hunting down illegal imigrants like animals?

I am not in favor in illegal immigration but I do not support how the illegals are currently being treated.

I just read in the news that a chicken processing plant was raided by INS agents. Some people hid in freezers. What is more upsetting is that these people who go around ranting "Obey the LAW" do not consider that while these illegals are being arrested at work, their small children sit at home for days with nobody to take care of them. I dont' care how politicaly correct these people are, they have lost their sense of humanity by rounding up people with no regards to the devastations it had brought up on the childrens. Have Americans lost their sense of being Americans?

Why can't Work Visas or temporary stay programs be issued?

They are criminals. Temporary work visas and the like ARE available. It's called an H-2A. They don't bother to apply for them. They'd rather flaunt our laws and work UNDER the radar. Their employers would rather pay them that way so they don't have to pay taxes or unemployment insurance or social security. These have ALWAYS been available.

I think that the homes of these illegal immigrants should also be raided. If they have children, spouses, illegal family members etc, then they should all be deported.

I've never understood why we allow the children of illegal immigrants rights. So they are born here, so what. Too many women come up here to have their kids and then get the government to let them stay. Citizenship should have to be proven at all hospitals or as soon as the baby is born both are deported right back.

When the ones that were taken to the hospital due to frostbite from the freezer, the hospital should have called the police and reported them, instead they let them walk free.

I live in Ohio and have relatives in Fairfield where the raid took place. We are cracking down everywhere on illegal immigrants. I hope it gets around that they are not welcome here. We have enough legal workers and their legal families here needing work without illegals taking them away.

Well because they probably had this all planned out to invade to where there were so many illegals working. That gave them the best time to do that. Plus, companies shouldn't be hiring illegals in the first place.

If the illegals know what they were doing was wrong, they shouldn't have put their kids in that situation or themselves in that situation as well. This is what happens when illegals don't do the right thing by becoming "LEGAL", but instead they break our LAWS here in America.

You got to be kidding that about you saying 'they lost their sense of humanity etc....' But you must understand that majority of illegals are in our jails/prisons. I just read a story today that an illegal raped a 72 year old woman right in her home and this illegal also killed her pet. Not too long ago, read that another illegal shot and killed 3 college students "execution style", also shot another college student, but ended up in the hospital. This same illegal in the past raped a 5 year old little girl. Another story I read about an illegal who happened to be driving drunk on the road, he ended up running into a motorcyclist who happened to be an off duty police officer, he hit him and caused the police officer to crash, his bike ended up stuck under this illegal's car and this illegal dragged him for a few yards. You see, these people don't care about humanity, or they don't care about our LAWS here America. They just come here to break our laws.

I would go on. People who are illegal know exactly what they are doing, it is their fault for their families to suffer when they are taken away. They break LAWS, they get taken away or sent back to where they came from.

No, when people break our laws they have to pay the price. If the children are are upset, they need to look to their parents for breaking our laws. Why should the American people take responsibility for the actions of the illegals Being where are over 20 million illegals how could you give work permits for. We as Americans did give amnesty to over three million illegals in 1986, and all we got for our good will was between 12-30 million more.

what about the illegals if they were worried about their kids sitting at home while they are being rounded up they would be in their country of origin until they were able to enter the USA legally. it's to bad,but it is a problem of their own making.
work visas can't be issues because they have entered the country illegally. besides why should they be issued a work visa,because they broke the law? no i don't think so. go back where you came from and come here legally and you won't have to hide in a freezer at a chicken processing plant.

What's the difference between an illegal immigrants kid and an American criminal's kid? Why arrest ANY criminal since the arrest will bring "devastation" to the families of the criminals?
If they were concerned with their families, they wouldn't be committing illegal acts, now would they?
They broke the law and should be arrested and deported. They need to continue to enforce the laws and rid this country of all illegal immigrants as soon as possible.

When you break the law then your family suffers also. That is unfortunate but also a fact of life! LIFE IS NOT FAIR. I am sorry for those kids but not sorry enough to allow someone like you to throw the law out. I served in the US Coast Guard for 9 years 8 of it as a federal law officer. I watched people ignore our laws and smuggle illegal guns, drugs, labors, and dozens of other things. When we had the law breakers dead to rights iron clad proof then politics reared its head and the criminals often went free. As a result several thousand heron addicts died because the Liberal Judges, Lawyers, and Politicians all had their hands out instead of doing the job we hired them to do. Others were forced to work in sweat shops and sell their bodies while people like you made excuses. NO No no you can not get away with it any longer. You personally bear responsibility for those children because you make excuses for their parents and encourage others to come here illegally. I do not understand how you can look in a mirror except that you will not accept responsibility for you words, actions and the impact they have on others.

Do you mean to tell us that these wonderful people leave their small children home alone with no one to care for them all day while they are working.
I believe a citizen would be arrested and separated from the child for that. It is called child neglect and is illegal.
Or are you saying that is just another law that illegals shouldn't have to follow?

Believe me when I say that their small children are not sitting home alone for days. Don't believe the hype!!! Their 8.5 kids have the mom there, along with the grand parents & 18 aunts & uncles. The mom gets cash aid, WIC & food stamps for the kids & everyone else in the home works to pay a total of $300.00 rent (from low income housing). They get along fine without the male figure who brings in extra "cash" from the chicken plant. They even have enough money to wire him in Mexico, so that he can cross the border illegally once again. How in the world can you feel sorry for these criminals that abuse our system??? Give me a break!!!

It takes paperwork to get work visas and they certainly show how much they like to fill out paperwork. As far as the children go their parents should be the ones ashamed of themselves. We are trying to uphold the law and who can keep track of how many children these people have? Their parents should be the ones thinking of their children not our government. The sad thing is that our government will take care of these children just like children who are citizens so if they know english, they will probably do just fine.

It is their job...That is what I.C.E. agents do. Illegal aliens are being treated in a fashion commensurate with their actions. I am pretty certain they were well aware of which laws they were breaking, other wise they would not have hid right?...As far as the any children are concerned, This is yet another situation where parents put children in harms way.
