she stands in the litter box, with her behind hanging over the edge! I guess she doesn't have a clue...

I also had a kitty that was an 'aim and shoot' kitty, and a covered litter box saved many a clean up. She got in the litter box, turned, and aimed. She didn't squat much.

You could look for a high sided litter box that may capture the stream. I have posted a link of one that may work. The second link is covered, with a high back, but you could remove the cover.

Does she get into the box and pee over the edge or is she not even getting herself into the box to begin with?

Does she not want to walk across the litter so she just stands at the edge? You can try things that aren't litter boxes, like plastic drawers or the tops of plastic bins if the litter box is a problem. You can try changing the litter to a sandy, clumping, unscented litter which most cats prefer. Sometimes the perfumes made for humans are overpowering and some of those crystal litters hurt their feet.

If she's shooting over the edge for some reason, you can bunch the litter in the middle and see if you can get her to scoot herself into the center to use it. It is hard to understand what the problem is so these are just general suggestions.

I hope something works for you.

Take the cover off, a lot of cats don't want to go inside one because it either traps odors and STINKS inside, or they think they're going to be ambushed if they try to come out.

Use one with lower sides, or even, in a pinch, an old cookie sheet with 2 cups of litter on it. Some cats don't like to climb in and out, so the lower sides work best for those.

And keep newspaper under all of these, for easier clean up.
