These are classic symptoms of depression. Please see a doctor to talk about what you should do next. There may be a medication that can help, and you might also want to try counseling as well (the combination of both medications and counseling is usually the most effective). In the meantime, you might also want to try making sure you are eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise. In several studies, regular exercise was found to be as effective a treatment for depression as some medications, so it is definitely worth a try. It should help give you a bit more energy, get the endorphins pumping to raise your spirits a bit, and make your body stronger and healthier to better combat this disease.
Please don't be ashamed to ask for help. Depression is an illness just like diabetes, heart disease, or any other chronic condition. It can be treated and you CAN feel better.
Good luck and hang in there!

People change, go through phases, or find different things interesting/boring. You need to accept that and try to look at it as a learning experience. THere could be a chemical imbalance, but that's not the cause, that's the symptom. You should be able to fix the problem on your own.
First- get healthy- get off of any drugs, alcohol, caffeine that may be altering your brain physiology and try to get to an ideal weight (if you're not already). Exercise and eat right- get all of your vitamins!
Second- Talk to people. Make sure that you're not holding anything back, but that you are aware of your feelings and able to communicate them to people
Third- Make sure you're breathing normally throughout the day and sleeping well at night. If either of these things gets out of whack, it could make you feel like you're losing it or becomming depressed.
I would try all of these things before you go pay money to get the same advice or spend more money on pharmaceuticals that could do damage. If you're the type that needs a cure in a pill, look into http://www.amelior4life.com - studies show it's dramatically effective at curing depression and has minimal side effects.
Good luck- and remember- don't worry about it- that may only make your condition worse! It's not just you- changes are normal!

It depends how long you have been feeling this way, if its only a few day I would say no. If its lasted for more than a couple weeks I would say go see your doctor. That is the way I feel and I have been diagnosed with severe depression but I have felt this way for a long time.

With your question you mentioned some of the most accurate symptoms to diagnose depression, it might be temporary. Even though, if things don't get better in a couple of days, go to the doctor, he will help you.

i think you probably are. do people ask you,' what are you depressed about?' depression like you describe is non-situational, being caused by a chemical imbalance. there are some really good medications for this. see a doctor, okay? and please let us know how things work out. ive fought depression all my life.

weird that's exactly what happened to me. And it turned out I was depressed (technically still am I suppose). In the short term, eat chocolate. In the long term, talk to someone about it.

Those are some of the symptoms, you can be treated, it's nothing to be afraid of , a lot of people are being treated for depression.
sometimes is good to be outside where it's sunny. mine is worse on cloudy dreary days. i even have one of those outdoor bulbs, they have at Lowe's.
& remember, Psalm, 121, it's pulled me out a lot of times !!
God Bless, dear.
