it looks pretty so it must be a good car.
realy the hyundi brand isnt very tested over time like your toyotas and hondas
look at the blue book value of cars a year or two old to see how much a car drops in value to see how much the cars holding up
if it drops considerable you should stear clear of it

Based on the comments above everyone in the world should drive Honda/Toyota exclusively. Hey, nothing wrong with those 2 brands at all, but neither makes a car comparable to the Tiburon though a Scion TC or Civic Coupe are close. You may also want to check out the Mitsibushi Eclipse, but my experience is that Mitsu's have alot of problems after the short warranty runs out.
Since the Tiburon has been out for a number of years it does have a strong following and reliability history. Also, because of this you may want to consider a 2 yr old model which will still have warranty but be considerably cheaper since cars lose 30-40% of their value in the 1st 2 years.
I recently test drove the Tiburon GS and found it to be fun and sporty even with the little 4 cylinder engine, I would go with the V6 though.

Hyundai's are all good cars. They just won't last a man the rest of his life.
That was the philosophy in the 20's, but the automakers found that people throw away perfectly good cars to get the latest greatest whoop-dee-doo-mobile.
So slowly all automakers were forced to cheapen their cars to compete.
Hyundai is no exception. They have to ship a car from Korea to you to make a sale. They're not made in your backyard. So they have to cut a few corners to sell that car.
Hyundai's are good, but they don't hold their value.
If you want good value for your money, look at lease prices. I'm not telling you to lease a car, but lease prices are set based on the value of the car at the end of the lease. The cars that cost LESS to lease, are the cars that will cost you LESS to buy once you calculate market value over time into the equation.
