When he ascended into heaven Jesus was caught up in the clouds and everyone lost sight of him. Jesus was in a materialized fleshly body, but when he was caught up in the clouds away from everyone's sight, the fleshly body was dematerialized and Jesus entered heaven a spiritual body as God's word says that flesh and blood cannot enter heaven.

Easy Spiritual body, logic will tell you that a physical body cannot live in a spiritual place.
While it is true that Jesus appeared in a physical form to his disciples after His Resurrection, On certain occasions they did not recognize Him, Why? (Luke 24: 15-32; John 20;14-16) On one occasion, for the benefit of Thomas, Jesus appeared with the physical evidence of NAIL prints in his hands feed and a spear wound in his side.
But how was it possible for Him to suddenly appear to them even when doors were locked? (John 20:26,27) Jesus apparently materialized bodies for these occasions, as His Angels had done in the past when appearing to Humans. Disposing of a physical body of Jesus at His Resurrection would present no problem to God Almighty.
A point of interest how ever, is that the Physical body of Jesus was NOT left by GOD in the tomb....

Suzie in John chapter 20 when Mary went to the tomb where Jesus was buried she found it empty - she ran for John and Peter - they went in and found Jesus head covering lying separately from the other burial clothes - verse 14 says Mary didn't recognise Jesus until He spoke - then He said to her "do not cling to me i have not yet ascended to my Father"...i believe He was taken up to heaven in His physical body - in verse 26 Jesus turned up although the doors were locked for fear of the ppl who were around at the time Jesus just appeared - this would have been His spiritual body...or His completed body that we will have in His Kingdom - if you know what i mean..

sounds like there's a number of things going on here...you know different states - but i'm not sure.

Suzie it says HE HAD NOT YET ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN when Mary spoke to Him...it wasn't until He ascended to His Father that He appeared to them....

Jesus rose from the dead in the same one that He died in. This resurrected body was a glorified, spiritual body. When He appeared to His diciples, He allowed them to touch where the nails went through His hands and feet so they would believe and not doubt His physical resurrection.

"When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst, and said to them, "Peace be with you." And when He had said this, He showed them both His hands and His side. The disciples therefore rejoiced when they saw the Lord"

-John 20:19-20.

"And He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? "See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have."

-Luke 24:38-39.

When Jesus was resurrected, He was resurrected in His physical body. He had a human body. He ascended to heaven in His earthly form, the form He took on when He humbled Himself and came to earth. As to what form He is in heaven, I do not know.

the instant we believers are raptured prior to the 7 years of horrendous tribulation under the anti-christ, we will instantaniously have our glorified bodies which, like Jeus, could go through walls, etc. Remember He is now seated at the right hand of God interceeding for hte saints when satan, the accusor, goes to and fro on earth seeking to accuse us,God's children of sining (which our fleshly bodies while on earth, is still capable of doing if we so choose)- but God sees us covered with Jesus atoning blood shed on calvary and forgives our sins and remembers them no more. Satan loves to keep throwing them up to us-we, as chldren of God have power over satan-use it as Jesus did when tempted in the wilderness for 40 days and nights-He answered satan not with arguements but with scriptures! "Thus saith the Father...."

Hi!

He was taken up, in the form of a dung beetle, he then pushed the sun across the sky every day!

Well, it is just as sensible an answer, as what the christian doctrine believes!!

After all, the ancient Egyptians, believed this, for much longer than the christian religion has existed!!

What makes one wrong, the other correct?

They're 'both' fiction!!!

He was resurrected by his Father Jehovah God in another body, not one made with hands like the temple of Jerusalem, but a spirit body made (built) by his Father. (Ac 2:24; 1Pe 3:18) This use of building as applied to one’s body is not unique, for, speaking of Eve’s creation, it was said: “And Jehovah God proceeded to build the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman.”—Ge 2:22.
