Egypt was still a country but the Romans were in charge. The last Egyptian Pharaohs were Cleopatra VII & Ptolemy XV Cesarion 44-30 BC. The Romans took over Egypt with Augustus 30 B.C. - 14 A.D. and all Romans after that.

The Word, Jesus Christ, was with God from the beginning. However, if you mean born of woman, Mary, and in the flesh, no, Jesus was not here when God delivered His people out of Egypt.
