Lower jaw line?? Any ideas?

Well lets see, I am experiencing weird pains on the inside of my mouth. It is in the bottom of my jaw, kind of on the inside towards my tounge. It's hard to explain really, but the pain is weird, it gets sharp and then dull. It started to hurt when I had a cold acouple of days ago, and now it won't stop. Any ideas what it could be.
