Pointed ears and curved eyebrows and you have Spock. But as evolution progressed into Star Wars the characters become even more furry and distorted. Evolution is alive and well, in TV land. Purely entertaining - like scientists describing evolution.

You got it. We picture everything from what we know. It's pretty hard to imagine what we don't know (or see) Even aliens in movies are based on animals here on earth.
