Probably, but I can also say I was hallucinating. I have done acid and would probably think it was a flash back. However, if there was at least two others there who were in a great state of mind, then yes, I will convert right after I ask him which religion and god it is I'm to follow.
We're on the first level of spirits. Well sweetheart, most Christians are on about a level 3 of Kohlburg's morality scale. (3 out of 6). So, I think it far better to be a 6 on a reality scale then on one that relies on something that may not exist at all.

Well...I've seen funny yet very logical answers on this question so I won't bother to say to have my head checked to the nearest psychiatrist. But seriously, that is the most logical answer to say.
Now let say this is a hypothetical (again?) question. So you're asking if a being suddenly appeared from nowhere and claimed to be an angel and told me to believe in God. Hmmmmm....the first thingI will do is to think what have I eaten for dinner. Is the food spoiled?
Then I will ask this "angel" what god should I believe. If this "angel" insisted that I should believe in the Christian God, then I will doubt its claim because "angels" were invented by the Persians and not Christians.
Then if this "being" who suppose to be an "angel" again insisted that I should believe in God. I will then ask why should I believe? Is my belief that important to an omnipotent being? Why should a so-called God, who is so-called "almighty" is pleading for my unfettered devotion? By this...I will be too skeptical to this "angel's" claims.
It seems angels are too stupid to figure it out anyway. (sigh...)

Yeah - assuming it was real - that would be evidence. Cool.
Question for you, what if someone didn't appear by magic in your room, but through the door, and said 'just trust me on this one, Ive a lot of contradictory texts from 2000 years ago, and lots of it contradicts science and logic - but you should believe in my God. And by the way all the other guys you claim their God(s) are real are all looney tune heretics, so ignore them...' What would you do?
No seriously, you wouldn't would you?

Probably go out and kill myself the next morning. Because if I told someone they'd put me in the loony bin, but if I didn't tell, I'd prolly go more crazy by holding it inside me.
This makes me think of the forward to Life of Pi. "I have a story that will make you believe in God." Sorry, Pi, but I still don't believe.

Hmmm...how could I be sure that this so-called angel was actually an angel, and not a hallucination, joke, trick, or illusion? Assuming the angel was actually an angel, well, it'd be tough not to believe at that point.

Depends. I'd probably think I'd gone crazy, to be perfectly honest. Too much stress... a visit to the doctor would be in order.
If there were no reason to doubt that it was real and I knew for sure I wasn't bonkers, I'd believe. I like to know the truth about things. There would be many questions, the first of which would be: "Which god?"

I'd think I was having sleep paralysis and suffering from an hallucination again, like when the aliens scanned me or the grim reaper shook my bed.

roflmao... why should I believe something so stupid? Thats called a "halucination". Schizophrenics are prone to them. You might like to look it up. If that happened, I'd be checking myself into a hospital because something is really wrong.
As for your childish whiney insults... well you just turned yourself into a complete wackjob. Good job.

I'd probably be more convinced it was a ghost then an "angel"...if not a dream. And to be just told that with no explanation or anything? Forgot it.
