My heart is broken and I sit here in tears but they are also happy tears because so many people can't be wrong. Thank you so much.

I'm so sorry you lost your kitty! I know what you're going through, we lost our little Pomeranian last summer, we miss her so much. No, that is not a strange question at all. I firmly believe we will be reunited with our beloved pets, that they are on the other side waiting for us. Just think of how happy that reunion will be!
*edit* - Hey! Who's giving all the thumbs down? And why??
*edit again* - Yes, the Sylvia Brown book is wonderful - it's called "Animals on the Other Side"

I'm really sorry for your loss. I know how bad it is to lose a special friend like that.

I believe we are all reborn into different lives and that any animal can come back as another animal or a person. That's just my belief. I'd like to hope that all the cats I've lost over the years will come back as really happy people because they were such great friends.

Remember that episode of the Simpsons when the dog almost died? with God on the other side side saying "here boy, that's a good boy, come on?" I think it's kind of like that.
And I hope Pretty Patti didn't try to eat Tyler after all, or Mikey and I hope someone is playing with Sneakers.

You bet they do! If God knows when every sparrow falls it has to be because He lifts them up! Besides, I have several dogs and a few cats waiting for me at the "Rainbow Bridge" too. Google it for more of an explanation than I can give here. And remember, every kitty you ever pet or love, that affection and love goes straight to your own beloved cat waiting in Heaven for you too.

Heaven wouldn't be heaven without your pets there.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I am sorry for your loss, i know what your going through. I've lost alot of animals in my life. Cats, dogs, turkeys, chickens, birds, everything goes to heaven, and there they wait for us to cross into their world. I believe very strongly that they go to heaven. They are there waiting for us.

Of course I believe they go to Heaven. Not a strange question at all for pet lovers. God created these precious creatures for us to love and to give us unconditional love. I'm sure we'll be reunited with them when we pass on. I'm looking forward to seeing my Barkley and Charcoal running to greet me and walk with me to spend eternity with them and all of my loved ones.
I am so sorry for your loss, I know how heart breaking it is.

Yes they will go to heaven. I believe they will. I once heard somebody say "their animal will wait for them at the gate when they go, and when they meet at the gate they will play once again like old times and be happy together."
Sorry to hear about your lost.
