I see adds all the time for online degrees like University of Phoenix and Devry ..theres lots of them. What I want to know is if I were to take these courses and get a degree or to be certified in a specific field what is thier guarantee that I will get a better job and increased income?
Do they have connections with places that hire from places like above?
And if so whats the best degree to get ? I'm looking to change carees and I am open to try something new but need to keep the same pay or better. Currently I make $30 per hour.

Well - if you are making 30 an hour now, you are probably not going to do too much better than that by changing careers, even if you had a good 4-year degree, let alone an internet one. The only way it would work is if your skills from your current profession would benefit you in your new one.

I think you should take a look at WHY you would want to leave a career making a decent wage (certainly middle-income anywhere in the world), and WHY you are making life-changing decisions that hinge on how much you are being paid.

Money is not everything.

First of all, degrees don't "work". A degree is documentation that you have studied certain things. You have to do all the work. And places that are in the business of either education or selling degrees do not guarantee that you will get a job. Not any job, not ever! They may claim to prepare you for certain types of work, but they aren't going to hire you. If you are interested in getting an online degree I suggest that you first of all investigate the institution and make sure that it is a real, actual institution of higher learning. Do they have a campus with classrooms and live teachers? That's a good start. Get information about the courses, what is taught and what kinds of requirements are there for earning credit. Do you have to take tests, write papers, or complete some type of documentation of your work? If not, how would they even know you did the course work, let alone learned what you were supposed to learn?
In sum, there may be some online degrees that are legitimate, but there are a LOT that are just pieces of paper, that falsely claim you have some education that you don't actually have, which you get by paying some money.

i used to sell , yes "sell" degrees from AIU, aka CIT. Same crap as UoP. these are only regionally accredited universities. couldn't transfer to a big name national institution where it would have serious impact and importance. if you're looking for that ofcourse. i wouldn't get one and then go around with my head up. not much of an accomplishment in my opinion because in the real classroom, you must pay attention and participate and "get it" the first time. but that is my prejudice,, you decide for yourself. in an on line environment, it's like video professor, whereby you can rewind the teachings to accommodate your learings. thus,, you can meet some real stupid collegial grads from an on line instution. but that is not to say that there are not slackards at regular schools nor smarties who simply take an on line degree for whatever reason. ...good luck.

Yes they do. As long as they are from an accredited college.
