Slow news days, politicians who desire to gain more control of the people and raise taxes, scientist who are funded by their reports that global warming is real, CEO's who corporations sell products that "cure" global warming, anyone who can make a buck from global warming.

Don't believe in those people that are saying that global warming doesn't exist, because it does, and there are proof!
What causes global warming is the greenhouse effect, the acid rain and the polution. The greenhouse effect is the main cause, the solar radiation pass through the atmosphere, some of it goes back to space, but others stay on Earth (which is good because it keeps our planet warm), but with the global warming happening the ones that are suppose to go back to the Space can’t go, instead they stay in our planet, causing hotter temperatures than normal).
The global warming will cause the rise of sea levels, more hurricans, the rise of global temperatures and a possibility of a new ice age. This is really bad to us because those things can kill.

Unfortunately it doesn't help keep your tan - it's the sun and not the heat that gives you a tan. Mind you, with the warmer weather maybe you're more likely to be out getting a tan anyway.
As to what causes global warming. Partly it's natural, the earth and the sun both go through a series of cycles, some of which cause cooling and some cause warming. How things stand at the moment is that we're in a slow warming phase and have been for thousands of years (with some short term cold spells thrown in).
The overriding factor in the current warming trend is what we're doing to our atmosphere, this has accelerated warming to way beyond anything that could ever happen naturally and it's primarily down to greenhouse gases.
These gases are produced from all manner of processes, some of the main ones are power generation, transport, industry and agriculture. Unlike other gases the greenhouse gases have an unusual characteristic in that they act as an insulating layer and trap heat within our atmosphere. Most of this is natural and it's just as well as without any greenhouse gases in the atmosphere the planet would be so cold it would be uninhabited.
What we've done in recent decades is to produce an unhealthy amount of greenhouse gases, these are pumped into the atmosphere and increase the insulating effect. This trapping of heat is what we often refer to as the Greenhouse Effect and the warming is generally referred to as Global Warming.
The effect of global warming is that it alters our climate, what we call Climate Change. There are many aspects to this, the most obvious being warmer temps. Some of the others include increased flooding, drought, rising sea levels, wildfires, increased storm activity, loss of low lying islands and coastal land, the melting of the ice caps and glaciers, loss of habitat for some species.
There's many more effects, not all of them are bad and some are more pronounced than others. These webpages have more info...

Global warming is caused by Carbon dioxide emissions. CO2 comes from many sources including...
1. Natural sources - animals, methane...
2. Fossil fuels - coal, cars, power plants, planes, buildings, etc.
3. Deforestization
4. and many other factors.
Global warming is no where near good for us. It is the cause of many species of plant and animals becoming extinct or becoming endangered. ex. polar bears, penguins, fish... Global warming is also melting our glaciers and within our life time there will be none left. Humans get most of our freshwater from glaciers. Plus there will be an imbalance of freshwater and saltwater in the ocean that causes more severe and frequent storms (hurricanes)
There are many more problems global warming is causing and it is by far NOT natural. There is a TON of info on the internet, dont be afraid to check it out...just type in global warming and ull get the info u need.

A better word for it is global climate change. And no, it is not a scam. Greenhouse gasses, like carbon dioxide and sulpher trioxide, are relesed into the atmosphere, mostly by cars. Other causes are acres of forests being cut down.
There was a plan to help global "warming" by incresing the earths albedo (percent of light reflected) by releasing water from the oceans into the atmosphere (done with special ships), to create clouds.

there are many reasons for changes in global temperatures. the sun is one of the biggest factors and has the most profound effect and is currently going through a phase in which it is putting out more energy than usual. this is why the temps on other planets in the solar system are rising as well. plate tectonics is another major cause of climate change on this planet as tons of co2 is released by volcanoes, earthquakes, thermal vents and the simple movement of the plates generates heat as well. suffice it to say, humans are no more responsible for changes in climate than martians are. it is a scam designed by globalist elites like al gore to take money from your wallet, and gain even more control of your life. it's just that simple...

Lots of natural effects warm the Earth---sunlight most of all, cosmic rays, volcanos.
The current problem is "Anthropogenic Global Warming", a rise in temperature caused by greenhouse gasses (primarily carbon dioxide) released by humans. These accumulate in the atmosphere and act like a blanket, increasing the energy absorbed by the Sun.
This has caused the temperature to rise much faster than normally occurs in nature. The worry is that this may cause even more greenhouse gasses to be released, and things might get very hot indeed for a few thousand years. Such an event might kill most living things on the Earth.

pollution in the air burns holes in the ozone...ozone can be "re-grown" by trees who give off oxygen(but that's more about photosynthesis).however, when we build concrete jungles(cities) anywhere and everywhere, we reduce the number of trees(ozone re-builders) and increase the number of ozone killers(cars, power-plants, etc.)therefore burning ozone faster than trees are rebuilding it. and about the tan...yes,tans give you glow and make you "look healthy" but what is actually happening is that the holes in the ozone let in more uva/uvb rays and without a hefty spf, your skin's melanin mutates and skin cancer becomes a factor.so, losing ozone is bad.really bad.

global warming and cooling is part of the natural process altho it might not be a "cycle". It has takes 1000's or 10's of 1000's or 100's of 1000's of years to occur in normal circumstances. But the abnormal rapid warming over the past 100 or so years is due to human activity and specifically the burning of fossil fuel..coal, oil and gas....which deposits huge unnatural amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere which traps the heat of the sun , warming the planet. It might have been OK if the population of the planets pop. had stayed at about 1B as it was in 1900, but the oil has made it possible for the population to grow rapidly, too, because the cheap energy and fertilizer we get from oil and gas allowed food production to increase rapidly. So now we have at least 3 times the number of people the planet can handle without cheap oil/energy....and that is about to change as the supply of oil goes into decline over the next fews years.

we cause global warming . we make smoke ,,,, and pollute the air....It causes skin dieses .... and many other disease...
we can only keep this not go out of limit... by planting as many plants ..trees as possible....and try not pollute the air by some thing which give s out green house gases...
