if he is a SOLDIER from other country, i will call an ambulance and let the authority handle him. i will not kill him, since he is a soldier from other country just like a soldier from my country, its just his job to protect his own country, thats why he is engaging to war... but since he is in front of my door, and there is no war, he has the right to live...
BUT if he is an TERRORIST from other country, i might kill him. lols
or ill call a police instead of ambulance... because terrorist are not defending their country, most of them even kill their own people or countrymen...

I don't look for reason not to help a person. A person is a person and I would immediately call 911 for the person to be helped or if I can make them more comfortable in the mean while I would.
How on Earth would you know if a person is a Taliban or Al-Quita terrorist. You just might find out this is an image created by the media to what ends I can not imagine. Please don't spread hatred.
Some how Hitler convinced his followers it was fine to murder 6 million people Jewish and assorted people his motivation was they had money and houses and businesses he could liquidate for his occupation of the world.
These people seem so powerless that in 5 years they have only been able to kill 4000 Americans and we are parading our terrifying armed military up and down their streets. All they know as we dropped 55,000 bombs on the streets of Baghdad killing most of their families. I just become a terrorist if you killed even 1 of my family.

First, I would NOT just assume that he was surrendering. Unless he made it VERY CLEAR that he was no threat, I'd finish the job.
If it was a legit surrender, I'd help the German. I wouldn't trust the jap or any of the others because their training doesn't include the Geneva Convention.
And terrorists don't surrender. They WANT to die.
No problem.
Thanks Coragryph, for the heads up on the Iraqi soldier. That one got past me. But even they were the enemy under Saddam. The difference is that they never had the opportunuty to commit any atrocities during that VERY SHORT war. I'd probably treat such a soldier like a German.

American Civilians would never have to deal with WWI1 Germans, they had a very good medical service, so I doubt he would be on your door step.
If found by US military personnel they would be afforded treatment under the Geneva convention.
WW2 German soldiers were not found wounded and wandering around in the USA in WW2,
North-Koreans preferred death to surrender. Again if located by US or UN troops they were afforded the relevant treatment under the Geneva Convention.
No house doorsteps for wounded VC around the Jungles of Vietnam.Ditto for Iraqi wounded.
In ALL cases if you were a civilian the christian thing to do would be to offer First-Aid, contact the relevant military / Police authorities.

If an wounded enemy soldier (especially from several wars ago) showed up at my doorstep, I would throw him into the swimming pool a few feet away. Then I would pour myself another stiff drink and wonder how they managed to walk across the ocean and (maybe across time). None of my own flashbacks have ever been this weird. Stupid question!
I've never seen enemy wounded. They have always been burned to a crisp or full of holes. That's what happens after a tank battle. Knocked out enemy tanks continue to burn for hours, and ammunition continues to cook off. I've always stayed away from those burning hulks. When the fires die down, the stench begins and lasts for days. Artillery bombardments and airstrikes are even worse. In an infantry firefight, I shoot anything that moves and never had to deal with enemy wounded. All of my operations have been hit and run with no attempt to hold the land after a battle. We always got the hell out of there and kept moving to the next objective or resupply point until we were extracted.
The Geneva and Hague Conventions require us to treat and protect enemy wounded -- if they survive the fight.
After my wars, I have broken bread and raised my glass with ex-enemy soldiers from many lands. They are just people until politicians stick their dirty noses into things and stir up trouble.

I would, with neither compassion nor malice, treat the soldier to the best of my ability and summon professional medical help, following the _letter_ of the Laws of War and the Geneva Conventions.
If I suspect even for a fraction of a second he is attempting to commit perfidy (using a protected status such as under white flag or being wounded to engage in combative or subversive action), I would shoot him. In the head. Twice.

For all of them, I would help them the best I could. Then call an ambulence and tell them its an enemy soldier. They should still take care of them. Seeing as how its there job to help people. When the enemy is all healed up and healthy, I am sure that he would be sent to a POW camp. I just hope he isn't beat to badly. It is not my job to let someone die.

Disarm them, detain them, give them medical attention, and notify the authorities. In that order.
Depending on the level of the threat -- a terrorist or fanatic being far more dangerous than a common solider -- the steps I would take to detain them and render them a non-threat would vary.
But as to your examples, an "Iraqi soldier" is a current ally of the US in Iraq -- since our purpose there is theoretically to help and train the Iraqi forces.

He is an enemy combatant. I will neither render aid nor harm him. I will simply call the local law enforcment to deal with him.
If I am a soldier I will do what is required of me under the geneva convention.
