Can anyone help me find some good sites (that will not over load my mind with info) to tell me the historical (not your belief) life of Jesus and Mohammad? As well as the impact their deaths had on the religions, they ways each was/is worshipped, and the messages that are carried out today?

I am having problems trying to find a site that does not cover so much information that I get confused on what I am reading. Any suggestions on sites that tell enough but not go into extreme detail?

Here are several sites you can go to to get more information on the historical lives of Mohammed and Jesus. Bottom line, you have to ask yourself if God is a God of good or a god of evil. In my viewpoint, no true God would ask anyone to do an
evil act. It just becomes simple for me to know that Jesus Christ was the true son of God, and Mohammed was a man who sought glory, power, and what's worse, was a pedophile who abused people & even young girls sexually to his own end. Really, what kind of religion promises men that they will go to heaven and be allowed to repeatedly rape as many virgins as they like? Does this sound like something a true and loving God would promise? Yet muslims believe this. Jesus promised everlasting life, with he and his father, with no more crying or sorrows or pain. Does that sound like something a loving and omnipotent God would promise? I think so.

Do the investigating though, because I know that you will find the truth. Here are some places to start:

Good luck. Is there any more loaded subject than Jesus or Mohammed? Practically everybody has an axe to grind.

In either case, the established facts are nil. It's up for argument whether either of them actually existed, let alone "as depicted." Both have the machinery of a world religion behind their respective images, and the truth of the human being has in both cases been completely overlaid and obscured by the legend.

There are historical accounts of Jesus but the Bible is the best source for his truth there is not a historical story of the life of Christ.
There are histories of Muhammad which would not be accepted by Muslims as the true life of their prophet is less than wholesome.

there's a documentary about the muslim jesus, which looks at the fundamental difference of what christians believe to be an account of jesus's life and what muslims believe, very interestng and educational but not biased to one belief
