Hadn't you heard? 92% already believe it's a serious problem. Chances are that the majority of the remaining people already know but choose not to accept the information.

It sounds like the best thing to do is to actually work towards a solution...whatever that may be.

Anything else is a waste of resources and actually CONTRIBUTING to global warming if you truly believe in man-made global warming.

Pretty much the same as you would with any website. The first thing you need as to register a domain name (yahoo.com, google.com etc) and get yourself some webspace and the tools you'll need - email facilities, bulletin boards, PHP and whatever else is appropriate for your needs.

You can get all in packages from many different webhosts, I'd advise sticking with the well known names as the last thing you want is for your webhost to close down or go bust. You can get a hosting package providing everything you need from Yahoo http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/webhosting/ not the cheapest around but the one I use for many of my sites.

Next you need to create your website, if you're competent in this area you'll know what to do, if you're new to website design then start with something like Microsoft Frontpage, it's the standrad MS website designing package and if you're familiar with MS word you'll soon get the hang of MS Frontpage.

Perhaps the most important thing for any website is to get lots of site traffic, you can have the best website in the world but it's pointless if no one visits it.

AN answer I provided some time ago gives lots of tips on driving traffic to your site - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AiAgNkyOpfncLYuagboTfaIjzKIX?qid=1006041108140

As for how to promote a website relating to global warming - contact the webmasters of related sites and ask them to link to you (they'll probably ask for a link in return - reciprocal linking).

Email me when you're up and running and I'll see if I can link you from some of the sites I'm involved with.
