I found a sealed bottle of Crown Royal in my parents garage. It is still in the original box and still has the original purple velvet bag. It is sealed with a Canadian Customs seal dated 1960 and has a serial number.

The value of old bottles of Crown Royal (1950's to 1654) seems to be about $70 if you can find a buyer. Vintage Canadian whiskies are not in high demand because they are blended and supposedly don't change from one year to another.

Unless the bottle is special it is worth about the same as a new one. Whiskey does not improve with age in a bottle like wine. Does not go bad either. If yo happen to like Crown drink it and enjoy. The box is a curiosity though.
