the beetles were wrong. love is not all you need. love doesn't pay the bills, love doesn't feed you. this boy CAN NOT support you, let alone a child. you cant support a child.
YOU ARE A CHILD. and as far as "happily ever after" it doesn't exist, you can try all your life, men will never be that night in shinning armor. they cant live up to that. who can?
just wait a few years, if he really REALLY loves you, he will wait too. then after a few years and a few more years of college, you still want to be with each other, then go ahead.
you have my blessing.

When I was 16 i thought i was in love and I also had a very screwed up home life. I'm not saying you're not in love and I'm not saying that your boyfriend is not a good guy. But I am saying that a lot of times when you think your family is against you because they're not giving you the answers you want it could be the complete opposite. Your family knows you better than anyone else (believe it or not) and they don't have rose colored glasses on when they look at your boyfriend. My question to you is.. If you love this man, than isn't he worth waiting two years for ???People change so don't rush into anything. Believe me, I've been there, done that and it wasn't worth the strain I put on my family and he wasn't all I thought he was.

No, you should not. Stay at home, grow up, start a normal life. "Happily ever after" is a myth. Actually, the "ever after" part takes a LOT OF WORK. So make the most of your time at home, and make wise choices. You can really mess up your life with one or two good mistakes such as the two you are considering.

Please, before you make a rash decision, explore all the alternatives. No doubt, many adolescents live in homes where the environment is miserable. However, leaving your parent's home, and starting your own miserable home, is not the answer. It is almost, 100% certain, if you don't finish high school, and become pregnant you will have a miserable life.
Since school will be starting shortly, consider discussing your situation with a counselor at school.
