Haven't they been taught that we all go to some eternally damned separation from God place if we don't say and know that Jesus was the Only Begotten Son of God, and to swear to that, even though they don't know?

And to see others as some sort of heathens to be oppressed or as having reason to oppress them and keep material to themselves as a reward for their "beliefs" that are treated like they were really knowledge?

Don't they tell you that God is everywhere?

How then can anything separate from that God?

Doesn't God know everything including all your sins/differences/ motions before you were born?

Don't mean to be rude Buddy....

But if you are ranting about how UNTRUE a belief is, you should at least be TRUTHFUL about the belief.

I'm right there with you on doubting the virgin born Jesus back from the dead thing, BUT....

Christ taught material wealth was not to be treasured & told his followers to do good to those that hated them.

The Bible teaches salvation through FAITH not through knowing.

And the belief that a creature like God Almighty would somehow be incapable of making Hell, is profoundly illogical.

If you are being untruthful and illogical about what Christians believe, it steps on your arguement that 'they' are the illogical untruthful ones.

Or as Jesus would phrase it: "Cast out first the log that is in your own eye, and then you will see clearly to pull out the splinter in your brother's eye. "

To the Christian, what we know from God's Word IS truth and logic. To those who reject Christianity, the Bible actually says that they will consider the Truth to be foolishness and that they are in fact the ones who are foolish.

I will not cram God down your throat. You have apparently heard the Truth and have rejected it. God IS everywhere and He DOES know everything. He KNEW you would reject Him BEFORE you did so, yet He keeps you around because He knows you will have many more opportunities to change your mind and loves you enough to give you those chances. One day however, you will run out of chances, and that is when God will decide that your heart is hardened and He will decide your life is done. God might know everything, including how we will live and choose, but He also gives us a free will, which means that we can alter what God already knows is the future for us because God is willing to allow that future to change for us if we choose to make it so. It really is up to you to decide your own fate. And THAT my friend, IS the truth and logic you are speaking of.

Some Christians are open minded and continue to learn. Some are still in touch with the Creator GOD and know (Christian Gnostics or Mystics). You are part of GOD so can never be separated, some lose their orientation by looking into the darkness; and yes, GOD knows.

No person can know "Truth" except by experience. The experience in question is to experience unconditional love, which is God. When that "Truth" is revealed the revelation is called "Christ" for Christ reveals God. When we reveal God to one another then Christ lives through us and we become the "Word" of God. That is truth. Stories and legends are all superstitions and if they confront logic they should be tossed out for the garbage they are.

When given the full knowledge of history and all evidence of the teachings of Christ how can someone not believe the message of Christ, and how can anyone believe he ever heard about "virgin" births, unless it's a metaphor for being born of spirit? (having love as your sole motivator)

God is everywhere because wherever you go, there you are. God lives within us humans. When you can know yourself you'll know God.

genuine, i might get various thumbs down for this, whether that's my opinion. @JD No, your answer is an occasion of insanity. some people have a touch element stated as know-how. they have self belief that there is no magic guy interior the sky that could do something, and could constantly forgive you in case you do no longer persist with your rules, yet he sends you to a place the place you will endlessly go through. you're loose to be non secular yet why do you sense the could question the (non)ideals of others? Why no longer merely settle for the reality the some people have diverse ideals then you certainly? Its in basic terms logical.

I understand both sides of the coin and I am a Christian. Some Christians do not believe what you have written to generalize all Christians together. It is like saying everyone in school is in the same grade.

God can see all at all times- but He does not reside in hell!
He does not live in those who do not believe in Him-- yet he can SEE their actions and he knows their thoughts ( See Hebrews 4)
Also, Gods ways are not our ways nor His thoughts our thoughts-- Isaiah 55:8
So when you say "understand logic" we understand God is WHO He is and we love and trust Him, because we know He is Good- What He does is good, and just.
His logic is far more logical than man's logic. It is hard for someone who does not believe to understand that, because you are thinking on human terms. When God's ways and thoughts are HIGHER than our own. I hope that makes sense.
As God says:
Psalm 118:8
It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

It depends on how you define Christian.

It is possible for a person to be a "Christian philosopher" or rational person who subscribes to or sympathizes with the philosophical precepts of Christian thinkers without themselves believing in the supernatural. This is rare, but it is a possibility.

If you define Christian as one who holds to the Nicene Creed, then, in that case, such people are ******.

Religion/superstition can sometimes be the opposite of logic. I really don't know what to believe.

And to Homeland Security, you can have faith in something besides god.

Also, I don't see why you should have to go to hell or not be "saved by god" or something just because of what you believe.

Evolution happened. Christians just go off saying "I did not used to be a monkey!"

Can you be a bit more spacific on what you asking? I can't tie together exactly what you asking for.

What I really want to know, and not to single you out, but why do people come on here to ask something to only try to proove thier point. If you want to proove your point, do so in answers, don't ask questions.
