LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Remember that for the rest of your life. It sounds like you're allergic to it. Try yogurt -covered nuts. Yummy!

Stick to milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is more pure, while milk chocolate has less cacao in it. All chocolate has caffeine in it, and a wallop of caffeine can be a trigger for a headache.

If the headache was accompanied by sensitivity to light or nausea, see a doctor. It may be unrelated to the chocolate despite the timing.

Might be a reaction to the caffeine in chocolate. Caffeine gives me headaches sometimes. But that's just a guess.

If you recently switched to a new kind of chocolate, you should probably switch back.

Maybe the headache is brought on by the sugar in the chocolate.
